Peter Mueller is anxious to get back on the ice and play some games after missing significant time over the past two seasons with concussion issues.
"I'm just so happy to be here," he said. "The past couple years have been tough. It's not anyone's dream situation. If you talk to any athlete and tell them they will miss that kind of time, it's going to hurt in some way. But everything is good now. I may sound like a broken record, but everything is behind me. I'm just excited to play." Mueller played in 32 games last season and he missed the entire 2010-11 campaign, so having his career delayed by a lockout has to sting. The Panthers, as an organization, are also eager to resume play so that they can try to build on their momentum from last year when they won the Southeast Division title.
