Radim Vrbata said that he is likely to return to the Czech Republic to play hockey in early November if the lockout is not resolved by then.
Vrbata is a part-owner of his hometown team BK Mlad Boleslav and will play there as he did during the 2004 lockout. "Back then everybody kind of knew the lockout would last the whole season, so I started playing right away in September," Vrbata said. "This time around with the long season we had last year and the uncertainty, I didn't want to rush myself to play right away." Look for Vrbata to go over the first week of November if there is no resolution to the lockout by then.
