Alexander Semin scored twice and added an assist but it wasn't enough as his Sokol Krasnoyarsk team lost 5-4 in overtime to Angarsk.
Semin is playing in the Russian second division VHL league, albeit for his hometown in Siberia. He will return to the Carolina Hurricanes of the NHL once the lockout is over.
