Erik Cole has been dealing with a lower-body injury since last April, so the one benefit of the lockout is that it's giving him extra time to heal.
The Montreal Gazette's Dave Stubb's spoke to Cole, who won't acknowledge it's a groin injury, but says it's in that area. The veteran forward had a career-high 35 goals last year and tied his career high with 61 points.
