It is the Flyers' first priority on Sunday to re-sign Matt Carle to a contract.
Carle is headed for unrestricted free agency at noon and Philly wants to ink him to a deal before then. The Flyers are running out of time but remain hopeful. If they can't re-sign Carle, there will be plenty of suitors for the mobile defenseman including the Maple Leafs, Islanders and Hurricanes.
