Tuomo Ruutu netted the game-winning goal against his former team, the Hurricanes, in the Devils' 5-4 win Saturday night. Ruutu also had an assist, so he now has six goals and 18 points on the year. All of a sudden, the Devils' puck luck has turned in their favor. New Jersey has scored four or more goals in five of six games since the Olympic break. Still, Ruutu, because of injuries that have sapped some spark from his game, is years away from the days of being a reasonable offensive producer. Adam Henrique picked up two, with Travis Zajac (goal, two helpers), and Damien Brunner scoring the others. Marek Zidlicky registered two helpers.
