Mark Olver was among Colorado's cuts on Monday. The Avalanche also assigned Mitchell Heard, J.T. Wyman, Bryan Lerg, Andrew Agozzino, Garrett Meurs and Colin Smith to AHL Lake Erie. Olver, Wyman and Lerg have to clear waivers before they can report to the minors.
