Gleason (elbow) was a participant in Friday's practice, Alex Prewitt of the Washington Post reports. Rather than skating in his usual spot next to Mike Green, Gleason was instead limited to fourth-pairing duties with fellow injured defenseman Dmitry Orlov. Based on that arrangement, it appears likely that Gleason will be forced to miss a second straight game Saturday against the Jets, though coach Barry Trotz has yet to issue an official ruling on the blueliner's status.
