Kopitar bagged a power-play goal in Thursday's 5-3 victory over the Senators. Kopitar sent a backhander past Sens goalie Craig Anderson to shift the momentum back to the Kings' side after the opposition had scored shorthanded just 36 seconds earlier. The tally snapped a 10-game goal drought for Kopitar, who had also gone without an assist in the previous three matches. With only 13 points in 26 games on the season, Kopitar is on track for what would be by far the worst season of his nine-year career.
