Zajac suffered a lower body injury in Friday's loss to the Red Wings. Head coach Pete DeBoer was uncertain about Zajac's status for the Devils' next game Saturday against the Islanders. His participation, or lack thereof, in the Devils' morning skate should provide a hint.
