Stuart (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve Friday. Injuries suffered by Alex Tanguay (facial fracture) and Dennis Everberg (separated shoulder) will prompt the Avalanche to make a few call-ups, so Stuart will move to IR to open up a roster spot. The blueliner is still limited by a hamstring issue and it's not clear when he might return to the ice.
