This is why bad teams sometimes deserve to stay in the basement. A year removed from unusually shrewd managerial decisions resulting in a rare stockpile of high draft picks this year, the Rams are now attempting to trade a chunk of those assets in order to move up and select an undersized WR in the top 10 selections of the NFL Draft. Not to mention they already selected two WRs early last year and still haven't even seen what they're capable of. Someone please remind St. Louis that they need a large intake of young talent at various positions to turn their fortunes around, unless the plan is to sell a ton of Tavon Austin Rams jerseys while ruining his career.

They got some of what they lost back after that second trade. Good for them. They got two studs in the first round and still have a ton of picks to go.

At least they got Ogletree, but now no second rounder to take a safety.
