Bills DE Chris Kelsay (neck) has been cleared to begin working out. Kelsay suffered a torn ligament in his neck and was placed on injured reserve after Week 12. The ten-year veteran recorded two sacks in a reserve role last season, and is due a $3.725 million base salary in 2013. He'll be set to go for OTAs.

Bills placed DE Chris Kelsay (neck) on injured reserve, ending his season. Kelsay aggravated the torn ligament in his neck during Week 12. The ten-year veteran was turned into a rotational end this season thanks to the Bills' revamped front seven. He finishes with just two sacks and a career-low 14 tackles in nine games. Kelsay's on-field production isn't worth the $3.725 million he's owed in 2013.

Bills coach Chan Gailey hinted that DE Chris Kelsay (neck) could end up on injured reserve. Kelsay aggravated the torn ligament in his neck against the Colts in Week 12. "Kelsay's still not good right now," Gailey said. "He's still not good. I don't know how that's going to work out, to be honest with you." Kelsay's 10th season in Buffalo is proving to be his worst as he has just two sacks in nine games.

Bills DE Chris Kelsay aggravated his neck injury in Sunday's loss, and "could miss some time." Kelsay was suiting up Sunday for the first time since Week 9. If "some time" is anything more than 1-2 games, he could be a candidate for injured reserve. Kelsay has been starting in the absence of RE Mark Anderson (knee surgery). Anderson will likely be sidelined at least 1-2 more weeks.

Bills DE Chris Kelsay (neck) particpated in Monsday's practice, and expects to be active for Week 12. "I definitely plan on playing," Kelsay said. "Hopefully, it's something that time and rest will heal, and we'll move forward. Structurally, everything's sound." Kelsay revealed Monday his injury was actually a torn neck ligament, but says he's not putting his body at further risk by playing. With RE Mark Anderson (knee surgery) still sidelined, Kelsay will start opposite Mario Williams if he can go against the Colts.

Chris Kelsay (questionable, neck) is not expected to play in Week 10 against the Patriots. Kelsay suffered a mid-week neck injury, and his status for Sunday will likely come down to a game-time decision. If Kelsay is ruled out, Kyle Moore and Shawne Merriman will replace him in the starting lineup. Mark Anderson (out, knee) is hoping to avoid season-ending surgery.
