Kendall Wright has dropped 14 pounds this offseason after playing near 201 as a rookie.

Wright is listed at 196. "I just started taking care of my body and eating right," Wright said. 201 pounds is a bit bulky for a 5-foot-10 receiver, but 187 is about right. The weight Wright plays at this season shouldn't be a perceptible factor in his production. He'll likely tip the scales somewhere in the 190s. Wright is expected to be a "significant" part of the Titans' game-plan after posting a lukewarm 64/626/4 line last season.

Kendall Wright is expected to be a "significant" part of new Titans offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains' 2013 plans.

Wright ranked second on the team in receiving yards (626) and tied for the lead in touchdown catches (4), but ultimately disappointed in the box score. It seemed to use like old OC Chris Palmer tried to use Wright as a space player, but it didn't work out. Wright's bread and butter at Baylor was vertical bombs from RG3, as he created consistent separation from Big defensive backs.

Tampa Bay 22, Atlanta 17

Buccaneers

Doug Martin capped off his awesome rookie season with another huge outing posting 148 yards on 28 rushing attempts. The Muscle Hamster is a lock as a top five RB next year.

Mike Williams quietly had another solid season accumulating 996 yards and nine touchdowns. He should also be mentioned amongst the best red-zone wide receivers in the league adding another short-yardage touchdown in this game.

Falcons

Yes, the starters played, but no they were not playing at full capacity. I suspect this game was more of a "walk through" after pouring their energy into the past two weeks and clinching home field advantage. The Falcons postseason fantasy value will be contingent on their opponent.

New York 9, Buffalo 28

Jets

The best news for the Jets is the season is officially over, meaning the rebuilding process can begin. Say goodbye, Mr. Sparano.

Bills

Yet another of the NFL teams who are about to undergo some radical changes.

The misuse of CJ Spiller and reliance on Ryan Fitzpatrick are the two reasons Chan Gailey will likely be fired by the time you're reading this article.

Baltimore 14, Cincinnati 23

Ravens

This game reminded me of preseason week one as the Ravens starters played two series and sat much of the game. Nothing to see here, move along.

Bengals

Cincinnati came out relatively slow until a touchdown pass to Marvin Jones just before halftime. Similar to preseason week two, the starters did not return in the second half. Boring.

Chicago 26, Detroit 24

Bears

For fantasy managers projecting into next season our focus has been on the development of Alshon Jeffery. Brimming with talent, playing alongside strong armed quarterback and with Brandon Marshall demanding added attention, Jeffery will be worthy of late round flier entering the 2013 season as a mid WR4.

Lions

Calvin Johnson's quest for 2,000 receiving yards fell 36 yards short as Charles Tillman, Tim Jennings and the Bears secondary said, "not on my watch". Still an amazing season for fantasy owners who ignored the Madden Curse and selected Johnson in the first round.

Beyond Calvin, this team is not good. No defense, no real running game and more off field issues than a rehab clinic.

Kendall Wright caught two passes for 40 yards in the Titans' Week 17 win over the Jaguars.

Wright, the 20th overall pick in April's draft, showed toughness and quick recover-ability by returning in just two weeks after a Week 15 cracked rib. He wound up leading the Titans in receptions (64), although his yardage (626) and touchdown (4) totals underwhelmed as Wright was utilized primarily as an underneath, screen-route and ultimately possession receiver. He was a bombs-away vertical threat at Baylor. Pending competent quarterback play, look for Wright's ascension to begin in year two, establishing himself as the No. 2 or even No. 1 pass option in Tennessee's offense with Kenny Britt as his primary "competition" for the top spot.

Kendall Wright (ribs) is expected to play in Week 17 despite being listed as questionable on the injury report.

The Titans are taking on the Jaguars in their season finale. Wright practiced fully on both Thursday and Friday and will be in the lineup, occupying his usual spot in all three-receiver sets alongside Kenny Britt and Nate Washington.

Titans receivers coach Dave Ragone said rookie WR Kendall Wright is "just scratching the surface" in 2012.

After being taken No. 20 overall in this past year's draft, Wright's season has been a bit underwhelming. Sure, he's caught 62 passes, but the 9.5 YPR average is poor. Ragone chalks it up to Wright learning to play the "X" receiver spot when he first arrived in Tennessee, before then switching sides and learning to play a different position. Wright has typically only been targeted on slants and screens in 2012, but the Titans know he can go deep. There just weren't enough balls to go around. Jake Locker's scattershot arm also didn't help the situation. "I think he comes in here next year as a much more confident guy, knowing he can beat NFL defenders," added Ragone.
