Turbin had five carries for 35 yards and caught 1-of-2 targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 30-24 win against the Raiders.

Turbin has recently been seeing time at fullback, with a season-ending injury to Derrick Coleman (foot), but no matter, he's not likely to put up big fantasy numbers, as long as Marshawn Lynch is healthy.

Turbin (shoulder) is listed as active Sunday in Carolina.

After Derrick Coleman (foot) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Turbin is the Seahawks' acting fullback for a second week in a row. While the increased usage last Sunday didn't result in much production -- two carries for seven yards and three catches (on four targets) for 24 yards -- he could profit from a Panthers defense that has surrendered 5.3 YPC and 10 scores to opposing running backs in 2014.

Turbin (shoulder) is probable for Sunday's game against Carolina.

Turbin has practiced all week, including two full practices to finish up the week, so he's at or near full strength for his usual off-the-bench role behind workhorse Marshawn Lynch.

Turbin practiced fully Thursday, the Everett Herald reports.

Taking on fullback last Sunday for the injured Derrick Coleman (foot), Turbin emerged with a shoulder concern, which has been alleviated in the second-to-last practice of the week. Coleman is out 4-to-6 weeks, and because the Seahawks have yet to ink a FB, owners should expect Turbin to act as the lead blocker out of the backfield Sunday at Carolina.

Turbin (shoulder) was limited in practice Wednesday, the Seahawks' official site reports.

Turbin made a surprise turn at fullback after Derrick Coleman suffered a broken foot during Sunday's pregame warmups. With more blocking than normal on his plate, Turbin's ailment can be explained, and he's in line to pick up another start as Marshawn Lynch's (non-injury) lead blocker Sunday at Carolina, if the Seahawks fail to bring in another FB this week.

Turbin, who had five touches for 31 yards, played fullback Sunday in a loss to the Rams after Derrick Coleman broke his foot in pre-game drills.

Turbin filled in admirably, but the Seahawks likely will sign a fullback this week. Third-stringer Christine Michael was active for the first time this season, but he did nothing (two carries, five yards) to threaten Turbin's spot as the backup to Marshawn Lynch.

Turbin had five carries for 19 yards in Monday's 27-17 loss to the Redskins.

Turbin oddly played the first series ahead of Marshawn Lynch, who went on to dominate both the carries and targets, finishing with 117 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 22 touches. Turbin has been quiet this season, with just 15 carries for 54 yards and three receptions for 39 yards, despite serving as Lynch's top backup in every game.

Turbin scored his first career touchdown Sunday on a three-yard pass in a loss to the Chargers.

Turbin didn't get much work as the Seahawks ran just 38 plays. He carried twice for seven yards and caught two passes for 35 yards and the touchdown.

Turbin rushed six times for 27 yards Thursday in Seattle's season-opening win against the Packers.

Turbin held off Christine Michael in training camp to back up Marshawn Lynch. Michael, who has a hamstring injury, was inactive Thursday. The Seahawks might want to go easy on Lynch, who had 20 carries, later in the season. If so, that would benefit Turbin. Until then, he's not likely to see more opportunities than what he had Thursday.

Turbin gained 26 yards on six carries and four yards on one reception in Friday's preseason game against the Bears.

While not as naturally gifted as Christine Michael, Turbin has seemingly done more than enough to keep the second spot on the depth chart. In the event of a Marshawn Lynch injury, the Seahawks might opt to have Turbin and Michael split the workload. You could make a case for either player as the preferred handcuff to Lynch, but Turbin's the safer choice.
