Packers ILB Terrell Manning dropped as low as 218 pounds just before his rookie season due to a parasitic infection that caused colitis.
Manning's Combine weigh-in was 237. The fifth-rounder out of NC State battled back, showing toughness, and became an outstanding special teamer in his first season. In year two, Manning will continue to compete on kick and punt coverage and perhaps battle A.J. Hawk and Brad Jones at inside linebacker.

Packers fifth-round pick Terrell Manning will be used as an inside linebacker.
Manning played on the weak side in North Carolina State's 4-3, but will move back inside in the Packers' 3-4. If not for concerns about his multiple knee surgeries, Manning easily could've been a day-two pick. He'll be competing with D.J. Smith and Rob Francois for reps behinds starters A.J. Hawk and Desmond Bishop.
