Manning was cut by the Bears on Monday, Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports.
Signed just a few days ago to provide depth at linebacker, Manning did not appear in Sunday's contest and hasn't seen time in an NFL game since 2012.

Manning looked like a promising prospect coming out of NC State in the 2012 draft, but has struggled with injuries and ineffectiveness in the two years since. With Jon Beason shelved, Manning will be in the mix for a roster spot.

A 2012 fifth-round pick of the Packers, Manning was claimed off waivers in September, but ended up appearing in only one game this season. Palmer was a "name" undrafted free agent last spring, but didn't last on the 53-man roster. Williams was the No. 230 overall pick of the draft, getting into one game for the Colts.
