Craig Robertson LB CLE 5 Days

Robertson had eight tackles (three solo) in Sunday's loss to the Panthers.

Robertson broke his streak of three straight double-digit tackle performances, but proved he could still be effective, even with Karlos Dansby (knee) back in the lineup.

Craig Robertson LB CLE 12 Days

Robertson led the Browns with 10 tackles (six solo) and an interception in Sunday's loss to the Bengals.

Robertson continues to shine as an IDP in the absence of Karlos Dansby (knee), as he was able to produce a double-digit tackle total for the fourth straight week. He also collected his second interception of the season, and is looking like he'll still be a strong IDP option when Dansby returns.

Craig Robertson LB CLE 19 Days

Robertson had 12 tackles (10 solo) and scored a touchdown after recovering a fumble in Sunday's loss to the Colts.

Robertson has stepped up in a big way since Karlos Dansby went down with a knee injury, recording double-digit tackle totals in three of the past four weeks. Fantasy owners banking on him continuing this production were greatly rewarded, as Robertson recovered his first fumble of the 2014 season, and scored the first touchdown of his career.

Craig Robertson LB CLE 25 Days

Robertson had 11 tackles (5 solo) in Sunday's loss to the Bills.

Robertson has led the Browns in tackles in two of the last three weeks since Karlos Dansby went down with a knee injury, and should continue to rack up high tackle totals while Dansby remains sidelined. If he can keep up this pace, there's a chance he could eclipse his best career tackle total (93) in his third season with Cleveland.

Craig Robertson LB CLE 1 Month

Robertson had nine tackles (seven solo) in Sunday's victory over the Falcons.

Robertson had to step up with leading tackler Karlos Dansby (knee) inactive, and his nine combined tackles ended up as the highest total on the team for the week. He's now recorded 20 combined tackles over the Browns' last two contests, and is looking like a solid short-term IDP add, especially while Dansby remains sidelined.

Craig Robertson LB CLE 1 Month

Robertson had a season-best 11 tackles (four solo) in Sunday's loss to the Texans.

With Karlos Dansby (knee) and Jabaal Sheard (ankle) forced to exit early, Robertson was set up to take on a bigger role on the Cleveland front seven. If the aforementioned injures force Dansby or Sheard to miss time, Robertson could once again see plenty of opportunities to rack up tackles, which definitely places him on the IDP radar.

Robertson is line to split first-team reps with rookie Chris Kirksey, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Robertson and Kirksey are viewed by coach Mike Pettine as "both starters," and as a result, the playing time will depend on the personnel grouping in the given situation. This doesn't bode well for either players' outlook as an IDP.

The Browns were "unsatisfied" with ILB Craig Robertson's play in 2013.

Robertson flashed every-down linebacker tools as an undrafted rookie in 2012, but was exposed badly in run defense as a sophomore and even struggled in coverage, which is supposed to be his strength. The Browns want to upgrade at inside linebacker. Look for Robertson to be a nickel 'backer at best in 2014.

Craig Robertson LB CLE 10 Months

Browns extended a tender to ILB Craig Robertson.

Robertson is an exclusive-rights free agent, so the tender is only worth $570k. Robertson made 57 tackles and an interception in 14 games with the Browns last season.

Robertson didn't practice all week and is day to day with a knee sprain. Tank Carder will replace him in the starting lineup opposite D'Qwell Jackson.
