Dan Bailey has only missed one field goal during team drills at Cowboys camp so far.

Bailey is picking up right where he left off after going 32-of-37 on field goals as a rookie last season. Dallas' potentially explosive offense and the kicker-friendly confines of Cowboys Stadium make him a fine fantasy kicking option.

Dan Bailey will not face serious competition for the placekicking job at training camp.

David Buehler was let go in March. Bailey was wildly impressive as a rookie in 2011, connecting on 32-of-37 field-goal attempts. He's a fine fantasy option once again this season as part of the Cowboys' potentially explosive offense.

Dan Bailey has set a franchise record for consecutive field goals made.

After going 3-for-3 yesterday, Bailey has nailed 19 straight field goals. "Don't mess with him," said special teams coach Joe DeCamillis. "Don't coach him. Leave him alone." Bailey's 20 field goals made on the season tie him for the league lead with Billy Cundiff.

David Buehler admitted that he's unlikely to challenge Dan Bailey for the Cowboys' placekicking job.

Buehler is nearly set to return from his groin injury, but his role will just be as a kickoff specialist if active. Bailey is 15-of-16 on field goals this season, including 6-of-6 from 40-plus yards out.

Dan Bailey is in position to open the season as the Cowboys' field-goal kicker.

Bailey is an undrafted rookie out of Oklahoma State that won the Lou Groza award as the country's best collegiate kicker last season. While the Cowboys figure to comb the waiver wire for a veteran option this week, Bailey has a real chance to stick. David Buehler will handle kickoffs.
