Moore caught two passes for 46 yards on three targets in Friday's preseason game against the Packers.

Moore drew a pair of pass-interference penalties, but he also appeared to get away with one of his own on a 40-yard reception. After seeing his role come into question a few weeks ago, Moore is the clear favorite to enter Week 1 as the Raiders' No. 3 wide receiver. With Matt Schaub looking awful through three preseason games, Moore probably won't find that role to be very fruitful.

Working as the No. 3 wide receiver, Moore caught one pass for eight yards on his only target in Friday's preseason game against the Lions.

Last week, Moore was speculated to be on the roster bubble, while Andre Holmes was a threat to James Jones' playing time. This week, Moore was back as the third receiver, while Holmes was banished to playing with the third-team offense. The Raiders have good competition going, but it seems to be more a result of frustration with certain players than anything else. Rod Streater is apparently above the fray, and James Jones should be safe as the other starter. Moore can be considered the favorite for the No. 3 role, but it won't be all that surprising if he falls back down the depth chart.

Moore, who is listed third on the depth chart at one of the wide receiver spots, caught all three of his targets for 28 yards in Friday's preseason opener against the Vikings.

According to ESPN's Paul Gutierrez, Moore may even be on the roster bubble. While Friday's performance was a step in the right direction, it increasingly seems that Oakland's top three wideouts will be Rod Streater, Andre Holmes and James Jones in some order. Moore, Greg Little and Juron Criner worked with the second-team offense Friday night. Matt McGloin to Brice Butler was all the rage in the fourth quarter.

Moore has slipped down the Raiders' depth chart, the Associate Press reports.

Andre Holmes and Rod Streater are listed as the first-team wideouts, and the additions of James Jones and Greg Little in the offseason have put Moore's role in jeopardy heading into 2014. Last season, Moore hauled in 46-of-86 targets for 695 yards and five touchdowns, but a shoulder injury limited him throughout most of the second half. He could still make up ground with a strong preseason.

Raiders coach Dennis Allen and OC Greg Olson have both continued to express concern with Denarius Moore's "consistency" this offseason.

Moore has been prone to drops and mental mistakes throughout his up-and-down three-year career. "We're still working through that," Allen said. "He's not unlike a lot of guys we have on our football team. He's still got a lot of improvement that he's got to make." Rod Streater and James Jones are considered the "leading candidates" to open the season as Oakland's starting wideouts.

ESPN's Paul Gutierrez believes Denarius Moore could be traded if the Raiders select Clemson WR Sammy Watkins in the draft.

Gutierrez called Watkins "Moore 2.0" and hinted the Raiders are fed up with Moore's inconsistency. Moore also may be surplus to requirements. Oakland added veteran James Jones in the offseason and have two young breakout candidates in Rod Streater and Andre Holmes that need to get snaps. Moore finished 2013 with 47 catches, 695 yards, and five touchdowns in only 13 games.

Denarius Moore caught three passes for 17 yards in Week 16 against the Chargers.

Moore rotated with Andre Holmes in two-wide sets and secured all three of his targets in the passing game. He hasn't looked completely healthy since returning from his shoulder injury in Week 15 and just five catches for 63 yards over the last two weeks. The Raiders finish off the regular season against the Broncos in Week 17.

Denarius Moore caught two passes for 46 yards in Sunday's Week 16 loss to the Chiefs.

Making his return from a shoulder injury, Moore rotated with Andre Holmes and saw just two targets. Considering how well Holmes is playing, there's no reason to think that will change over the final two weeks. Moore is waiver wire fodder despite a plus Week 16 matchup against the Chargers.

Denarius Moore (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Week 15 against the Chiefs.

Moore has missed the last three games with a shoulder injury, but practiced on a limited basis this week and is tentatively expected to return for Sunday's matchup with Kansas City. He'll start opposite Rod Streater if active, with Andre Holmes moving back into the third receiver role.

Denarius Moore (shoulder) practiced again Friday and was "moving around pretty good," per the SF Chronicle's Vic Tafur.

Moore appears ready to return from his three-week shoulder injury, sending Andre Holmes into a third receiver role and shaking up Oakland's wideout corps. It's difficult to get excited about any Raiders pass catchers from a fantasy perspective ahead of Sunday's matchup with a reenergized Chiefs defense.
