Tennessee 14, New York Jets 10

Tennessee

Watching the rapid development of so many rookie quarterbacks around the NFL, it's tough to watch the inaccuracy and poor decision making of second-year player Jake Locker. Of course, no one is starting Locker deep in the fantasy playoffs, but his shortcomings are killing the value of all Titans wide receivers, including Kenny Britt. Best to avoid any Titan not named Chris Johnson.

New York Jets

In a must-win situation, Mark Sanchez's horrid season continued on Monday night tossing 131 yards, one touchdown, four interceptions and a fumble. I'd be willing to bet my left chestnut Tim Tebow will be the Jets starting quarterback next week.

Tuesday Morning Quick Hits

LeSean McCoy has been medically cleared to play, but coach Andy Reid was non-committal on the availability to his feature running back. Early indications suggest McCoy will sit.

Jordy Nelson is close to returning, but can we trust him with our season on the line? I'd be looking for a Plan B.

Ahmad Bradshaw is claiming he'll be ready for next week. If so, our crystal ball would suggest a 60-40 timeshare between he and David Wilson.

Danny Amendola emerged from Sunday's game without a setback to his injured heel. He is a high-end WR3 facing the league's worst Tampa Bay Buccaneers secondary.

Daniel Thomas sustained a knee injury against Jacksonville. Reggie Bush would have mid-RB2 value as the Miami Dolphins' lead back playing the pedestrian Buffalo rush defense.

Dez Bryant says the finger "feels fine." If he starts for the Dallas Cowboys, he starts on our fantasy team.

Torrey Smith's concussion doesn't appear to be serious. Smith should be suiting up in favorable matchup against the New York Giants secondary.

• With Kirk Cousins playing at a high level against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, my gut is telling me the Washington Redskins will give Robert Griffin III a second week of rest playing a very beatable Philadelphia team.

Daniel Thomas sustained a knee injury in Sunday's Week 15 win over the Jaguars.

Thomas lasted just seven snaps before calling it a day. That left Reggie Bush with 21 carries, his second-highest total of the season and most since Week 2. The nature of Thomas' injury is unknown right now.

Daniel Thomas rushed just once for six yards in the Dolphins' Week 15 win over the Jaguars.

He played behind Lamar Miller for the second straight week. Thomas was a committee back with Reggie Bush around midseason, but he's being phased out of the offense now. We wonder if the 2011 second-round pick might be cut by the Dolphins this offseason. Thomas has no fantasy value for Week 16 versus Buffalo.

Dolphins RB Daniel Thomas played behind rookie Lamar Miller in Week 14 versus the 49ers.

Miller played as Reggie Bush's backup for the first three quarters, but saw only three carries. Thomas didn't appear until the fourth quarter. He's no longer worthy of a roster spot in 12- and 14-team leagues. With Bush due to hit free agency, Miller has a shot at the starting job over Thomas in 2013.

Week 15: Weathering the Storm (fantasysharks.com)

With the holidays around the corner, we must now factor weather conditions and other variables into the fantasy football season, which should be playoff time in most head-to-head leagues. With freezing conditions along with falling rain and snow in the forecast, there may be less points on the board and potentially decreased passing numbers in some contests.

In addition, injuries continue to pile along with the potential benching of key fantasy studs locked into their playoff seeding in the near future. With matchups over the next few weeks deciding the fate of your fantasy league's prized trophy, take a dive with me we prep for Week 15. If you listened to me last week, you started Seattle's defense that earned owners around 41 points in most leagues!

QB Andy Dalton - Although it will be chilly for Week 15's first game on Thursday, the weather will be favorable in comparison with other outdoor stadiums. With questions regarding the status of several quarterbacks up in the air this weekend, Dalton is a safe bet for a strong performance. His home and away numbers are very similar as he prepares for the Philadelphia Eagles, who have allowed multi-touchdown games to opposing quarterbacks for seven straight weeks. This will be a make-or-break game for Cincinnati, who still has a shot at making the playoffs. Look for a strong performance from Dalton.

Week 15 forecast: 225 passing yards, 2 TD

RB Reggie Bush - After a dynamic start, Bush cooled down mid-season with decreased production and a shared workload with Daniel Thomas. The Miami running back has experienced a slight resurgence and earned 65 rushing yards and 38 receiving yards off of seven targets in Week 14. Although he did not find the end zone, Bush did break the 100 total yards mark for the first time since Week 2. With weather as a non-factor and a matchup against the New Orleans Saints, who have allowed more rushing yards, receiving yards and overall points to opposing running backs, Bush should have a huge performance this weekend.

Week 15 forecast: 110 total yards, TD

WR Josh Gordon - It is difficult to remember when a Cleveland Browns receiver was considered a "must-start." Gordon has been relatively consistent and even heating up during the Browns' recent win streak. He is averaging more than 100 yards over his last two games and was targeted 12 times last weekend. Gordon will be a heavy contributor to fantasy teams with a matchup against the Washington Redskins, who have...

Daniel Thomas rushed twice for three yards in the Dolphins' Week 14 loss to San Francisco.

Thomas played a minimal role for the first time in weeks; he's typically pretty heavily involved as the 1B to Reggie Bush's 1A in the backfield. Bush racked up 19 touches against the Niners -- his highest total since Week 5. Thomas' role figures to be a bit bigger in future games, but he won't be a fantasy option against the Jaguars in Week 15 coming off a two-touch performance.

Daniel Thomas rushed five times for 10 yards and added two catches for 19 yards in the Dolphins' Week 13 loss to the Patriots.

Thomas played well behind Reggie Bush, not getting his first touch until the Dolphins' third offensive series. Over the last five weeks, Thomas is averaging just 9.4 touches per game. He's a mere stash for owners in case Bush goes down.
