Lance Kendricks caught three passes for 25 yards in St. Louis' Week 1 win over the Cardinals.
It wasn't a bad day considering new TE Jared Cook went off for seven catches, 141 yards and two scores, but Cook's presence ensures Kendricks will remain off the fantasy radar this season.

Lance Kendricks (knee) expects to play Week 1.
Kendricks, who had his knee scoped in April, is participating fully in individual work and got in 11-on-11 drills for the first time Monday. His snaps will be limited as the Rams go to a spread look that features Jared Cook as their every-down tight end.

Rams TE Lance Kendricks had his right knee scoped last month.
Kendricks was dealing with swelling in his knee last month and decided to have it cleaned out. The former second-round pick showed up on the injury report a couple of times last season with a knee injury, but he didn't miss a game. With Jared Cook in town, Kendricks is expected to focus on blocking in 2013. He's sitting out OTAs, but he should be ready for training camp.

Lance Kendricks caught three passes for 33 yards versus the Seahawks in Week 17.
Kendricks had a much better sophomore season after he struggled badly with drops as a rookie in 2011. The former Wisconsin tight end caught 42 passes for 519 yards and four touchdowns while also proving to be a force as a willing blocker. The Rams could do a lot worse at the position, but there's also a lot of room for improvement. If the Titans' Jared Cook somehow makes it to free agency and avoids the franchise tag in Tennessee, reuniting with Jeff Fisher in St. Louis seems like a perfect fit.

Lance Kendricks caught four passes for 119 yards and a touchdown in St. Louis' Week 16 win over the Bucs.
The 100-yard game was the first of Kendricks' career, and was thanks to an 80-yard touchdown on the first play of the second half. Wide open down the seam, Kendricks looked like an offensive lineman lumbering to the end zone, but managed to make a tackler miss on what will likely go down as the longest play of his career. The 119 yards were a new career high by 48.

Lance Kendricks caught three passes for 32 yards in St. Louis' Week 13 win over the 49ers, but committed costly drops on each of his other two targets.
In other words, a typical day at the office for the second-year pro. He's on pace for just 39 catches and 395 yards. Kendricks' pedigree as a second-round pick should have his roster spot safe for 2013, but he'd do well to have the best offseason of his life. Kendricks' Dynasty light is flickering.

Lance Kendricks caught a 37-yard touchdown in St. Louis' Week 12 win over the Cardinals.
Kendricks' second-quarter score was his only catch of the afternoon. Although it was nice to see Kendricks get his second touchdown of the season, he's still just a bit player in the Rams' middling aerial attack.
