Dalton completed 18 of 38 passes for 126 yards Sunday against the Colts.

Only a week removed from throwing for 323 yards and two touchdowns, Dalton was a complete mess against the Colts, throwing a season-high 20 incompletions. While six players caught passes, none of them had more than 55 receiving yards, with Jermaine Gresham's stat line a decent example of Dalton's day: 10 catches on 12 targets for only 48 yards. If there's something to look forward to, it's that the Bengals will next face off against a Ravens defense allowing 258.4 passing yards per game, the ninth-highest average in the NFL, though they are tied for the league-lead with only seven passing touchdowns allowed.

Dalton completed 33-of-43 passes for 323 yards, with two touchdowns and two interceptions, while adding 25 rushing yards on four carries during Sunday's 37-37 tie with the Panthers.

Despite top wideout A.J. Green inactive with a toe injury, Dalton set a season-high in passing yards, while throwing for multiple touchdowns for the second consecutive game. He connected with seven different receivers, led by Mohamed Sanu, who had 10 catches on 14 targets for 120 yards and a touchdown. Green is not expected to play in Week 7 against the Colts, which means Dalton will continue to have to spread the ball around to produce for fantasy owners.

Dalton completed 15-of-24 passes for 204 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 43-17 loss to the Patriots. He added 16 yards on two carries.

Not the passing stats you'd expect to see in a blowout, but the Bengals only ran 48 offensive plays, and had two drives end early because of fumbles by wide receivers. Dalton wasn't perfect, but he didn't commit any turnovers, and did a decent job of moving the ball, even though New England's Darrelle Revis was all over A.J. Green. Dalton also watched his receiving corps drop a few passes, including what should have been a touchdown to TE Jermaine Gresham. Solid but unspectacular from a real-life perspective this season, Dalton has been a disappointment to owners, with just 926 passing yards and four touchdowns through four games. He does get a favorable matchup next week, facing the Panthers at home.

Dalton completed 15-of-23 passes for 169 yards with an interception in Sunday's blowout win over Tennessee. He also caught an 18-yard touchdown from Mohamed Sanu.

Dalton's touchdown reception was one of the highlights of the entire week, as he looked relatively athletic on the play. The touchdown grab made up for a lackluster fantasy day, although Cincinnati controlled the game, and didn't really need to air it out. The good news for Dalton is that A.J. Green (toe) returned, after missing the majority of Week 2, and looked great, as the duo hooked up six times for 102 yards.

Dalton completed 15-of-23 passes for 252 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Falcons.

Dalton connected with only five receivers, highlighted by Mohamed Sanu's 76-yard touchdown against an all-out blitz by the Falcons. The biggest issue for Dalton will be the potential loss of wideout A.J. Green, who suffered a toe injury in the game before he was even targeted once. Green's MRI came back negative, but it is possible he could be held out Week 3 against the Titans with the Bengals having a bye in Week 4. If that's the case, Cincinnati could focus more on running the ball next week, which would limit Dalton's fantasy upside.

Dalton completed 25-of-38 passes for 301 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-16 win over the Ravens, adding a two-point conversion through the air.

Dalton threw a ton of screens, and while he had no problem moving the ball, the Bengals settled for five field goals in the first half, with another blocked in the third quarter. Dalton finally hit paydirt with five minutes left and the Bengals down by a point, finding A.J. Green for a 77-yard touchdown. All in all, Dalton played a solid but unspectacular game, with the fantasy results to match. The Bengals are starting to run thin on receiving targets, as TE Tyler Eifert left Sunday's game with what appeared to be a serious elbow injury, while WR Marvin Jones (broken foot) is still expected to miss the first month of the season. Dalton will likely lean on Green and Giovani Bernard in next week's friendly matchup against the Falcons.

Dalton completed 13-of-21 pass attempts for 157 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in Sunday's preseason game at Arizona.

The fourth-year quarterback played the entire first half, and even though he didn't lead Cincinnati to any offensive touchdowns, he looked relatively sharp, completing 62 percent of his pass attempts with a 7.5 YPA. The loss of Marvin Jones for about the first month of the regular season will probably hurt Dalton's numbers a bit, but superstar A.J. Green is still around. New offensive coordinator Hue Jackson is expected to run the ball more this season though, so it could be tough for Dalton to repeat last year's 33-touchdown performance.

Dalton has been working hard on his release point to get fewer balls knocked down at the line of scrimmage, the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Dalton isn't necessarily short (6-2, in fact), but that has been a problem for him nonetheless.

Walk-year QB Andy Dalton is "confident" he and the Bengals will work out a new deal.

"Both sides are working on it," Dalton said. "We haven't given a deadline, we haven't talked about a deadline. We don't expect it to get to that point, but if it does, it does." The Bengals have not seen enough from Dalton to warrant a big-money extension, and are not risky much by not signing him to a long-term deal, since they could simply slap the franchise tag on Dalton if he performs well this season. Without much leverage, Dalton may have to accept a "pay as you go" contract similar to the one Colin Kaepernick signed earlier this offseason in order to get anything done.
