Jaguars WR Taylor Price (foot surgery) received an expletive-laden dressing down from WRs coach Jerry Sullivan in earshot of fans and reporters Saturday.
The good news is, Price is ready for camp after missing the offseason program with a stress fracture. The bad, of course, is that he appears to be making the same kind of mistakes that hastened his release from the Patriots. Price is a long-shot to crack the Jaguars' mediocre but crowded receiver corps.

Jaguars WR Taylor Price (foot surgery) has shed his crutches and walking boot.
Per the Florida Times Union, the Jaguars had "liked what (they'd) seen" out of Price before his April injury. He'll need to be 100 percent by camp to have a legitimate shot at a roster spot, however.

Jaguars WR Taylor Price required surgery and had a pin inserted into the stress fracture in his left foot.
He's on crutches at OTAs. Price's injury is going to put him well behind Cecil Shorts, Chastin West, and even Brian Robiskie when training camp kicks off.

Jaguars WR Taylor Price is done for the remainder of the offseason due to a stress fracture in his foot.
He'll be well behind the eight ball by training camp, assuming Price is even healthy then. It's a big setback for a talented, but underachieving player who will be fighting just to make the team. Coach Mike Mularkey has given no timetable for Price to return. He could be a candidate for the PUP list.

In addition to Jacksonville, the Dolphins, Bucs, and Jets also put in waiver claims for WR Taylor Price.
All three teams are shallow at receiver beyond the two starters, though the Jagaurs are still his best shot at playing time if he can get a handle on the playbook over the next couple of weeks.

Jaguars claimed WR Taylor Price off waivers from the Patriots.
According to the Boston Herald's Ian Rapoport, "about five" teams placed claims on the former Pat. Jacksonville is an ideal landing spot for the former third-round pick, who should find himself near the top of the depth chart for a team with precious little talent at receiver. One of the few highlights of Price's two-year career came against the Jags in the preseason, as he reeled in five catches for 105 yards and a touchdown.

Patriots waived WR Taylor Price.
The writing was on the wall for the 2010 third-round pick after he found himself behind Tiquan Underwood on the depth chart against the Eagles last weekend. Underwood was signed just three days prior to the game. Price has been active for only four of a possible 27 games since coming into the league, and has made just three catches. He won't be burning up the waiver wire, and is probably safe to drop in dynasty leagues.

According to Patriots OC Bill O'Brien, the third receiver job will be a "week-to-week" decision going forward.
"It's how you practice, how you study, the opponent and our game plan, then being able to go out on the field and do it consistently," said O'Brien. "This week it could be somebody different. It could be Taylor [Price], it could be Tiquan [Underwood], it could be someone none of you had ever heard of. That's the beauty of what we do."
