Foster (hamstring) had 20 carries for 109 yards and two touchdowns in Thursday's 33-28 loss to the Colts, adding three receptions for 42 yards on four targets.

Foster looked perfectly healthy as the Texans stuck with a balanced offense despite falling behind 24-0 in the first quarter. While QB Ryan Fitzpatrick has struggled to move the ball all season, Foster has been as consistent as possible, topping 100 rushing yards in each of his four full games, with five touchdowns in an inconsistent offense. The Houston attack will continue to run through Foster, and even the team's shaky passing game doesn't seem to be holding him back. Next week will bring a friendly matchup with the porous Pittsburgh defense.

Foster (hamstring) is listed as probable for Thursday night's game against the Colts, the Texans' official site reports.

Foster (hamstring) was limited at practice Tuesday.

After not participating in Monday's walkthrough, Foster's mere presence on the practice field Tuesday looks encouraging. The 28-year-old back carried the ball 23 times in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys, so it's possible his limitations are simply maintenance related. His level of participation in Wednesday's practice should provide a clearer picture of his availability Thursday night following the short week.

Foster did not participate in Monday's walk-through practice due to a hamstring injury, CSN Houston reports. The Texans play Thursday night against division-rival Indianapolis.

Coming a day after playing a game, it's too early to put much stock in a player's participation. Eleven Texans were listed as did not participate, but we'll learn more coming out of practices Tuesday and Wednesday.

Foster (hamstring) had 23 carries for 157 rushing yards and two touchdowns, as well as two catches on five targets for 15 receiving yards Sunday against the Cowboys.

Foster dominated the touches out of the backfield, ceding only five carries to backup Alfred Blue, one week after gaining only six yards on eight carries against the Bills. Foster seems close to 100 percent now and should continue to get a heavy workload, though a Week 6 matchup against the Colts won't be easy.

Foster (hamstring) is listed as probably for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Deepi Sidhu of HoustonTexans.com reports.

The report adds that Foster practiced both Thursday and Friday, but was limited, so while the probable designation is certainly encouraging and suggests that Foster should be a go this weekend, it will still be worth verifying the running back's status in advance of Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff, to be sure.

Foster (hamstring) was limited at practice Thursday, the Houston Chronicle reports.

The report adds that coach Bill O'Brien plans to consult with Foster and Texans trainer Geoff Kaplan, among others, in order to determine the running back's status in advance of Sunday's game against the Cowboys. In the absence of a probable designation for Foster come Friday, we suspect that this will turn into another game-time decision for the running back.

Foster, who did not practice Wednesday, suggested that he plans to evaluate his hamstring as the week rolls along before a decision about his Week 5 status is made, the Houston Chronicle reports. "I'm just going to go out there everyday and see how it feels," Foster noted in advance of Sunday's game against the Cowboys. "If it feels good enough to play, I'll suit up."

Based on that, we'd expect Foster to draw a questionable designation Friday, though if that's the case and his status evolves into a game-time call, fortunately for those considering him this weekend, the Texans kick off at 1:00 ET on Sunday.
