Arian Foster RB HOU 5 Months
Arian Foster is expected to undergo a minor heart procedure in "about a month."
Foster is "considering a heart ablation" to help alleviate the problem that forced him to leave the Texans' Week 16 game with an irregular heartbeat. Foster says he has been dealing with the problem since he was 12 years old, but it's the first time it ever affected him in a game. He seems to think the issue is related to stress. If Foster does have thee procedure, it shouldn't affect his offseason availability.

Arian Foster rushed 22 times for 90 yards and a touchdown and added seven receptions for 63 yards and a score in Sunday's Divisional round loss at New England.
With the Patriots dominating the trenches and focusing their attention on Foster, he was contacted behind the line of scrimmage on four of his first six carries. The Texans offense finally came alive on a Foster-dominated scoring drive late in the second quarter. While posting his best receiving game of the season, Foster bypassed Terrell Davis for most rushing yards in his first four postseason games. With another dominant playoff performance, Foster has shown that concerns about his dwindling per-carry average have been overblown. He should be one of the top two players off the board in 2013 fantasy drafts.

Arian Foster rushed 32 times for 140 yards and a touchdown and caught eight passes for 34 yards as the Texans defeated the Bengals in the Wild Card Round, 19-13.
Foster brought the sustaining, chain-moving element to a Houston offense that generally struggled in the passing game against Cincinnati. Although he didn't have any truly long runs (best gain was 17), Foster carried the mail like the true workhorse he is and scored the Texans' only touchdown. While Saturday's win wasn't convincing, it should give a sagging Texans team confidence, particularly from the standpoint that they can still field a dominant rushing attack.

Arian Foster acknowledges that the offense's execution is "obviously an issue" after a four-game slump.
The Houston Chronicle's Lance Zierlein opines that the offense is "broken" and the running game and offensive line issues "can't be fixed." Not blocking as well in the outside zone game, the Texans have just five field goals and a touchdown over the past two games. Foster has cleared 5.0 YPC three times in the past seven games, but has been held to 3.1 YPC or less in the other four.

Arian Foster (irregular heartbeat) is practicing in full for Week 17.
"Arian's fine," coach Gary Kubiak said Wednesday. "He's been cleared. Took all his normal reps he would take on a Wednesday." Foster will be good to go for Sunday's finale, and could be in for his near-usual workload as the Texans look to wrap up the AFC's No. 1 seed. However, if things get out of hand early, Foster will certainly be given an extended breather.

Arian Foster (irregular heartbeat) tweeted Monday morning that "everything is back to normal."
He made the proclamation after a trip to his cardiologist. Although Foster's departure from Sunday's game was a scary situation, that's all it ended up being: A scare. We fully expect him to start this week's game against the Colts as the Texans look to lockdown the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

Arian Foster left Sunday's Week 16 game against the Vikings in the third quarter with due to an illness.
Foster was spotted going to the locker room and Ben Tate handled an entire possession that ended with a short field goal. There's no word on what the issue is. Before leaving, Foster was absolutely bottled up by an inspired Vikings defense as he managed just 10 carries for 15 yards and lost a fumble.

Arian Foster rushed 27 times for 165 yards and caught two passes for four yards in the Texans' Week 15 win over Indianapolis.
We'll take 169 total yards from our RB1 most weeks, but this one could have been bigger. Foster had a 27-yard touchdown called back due to a holding penalty by LG Wade Smith in the second half. Foster did salvage fantasy points by racking up big-time runs late in the fourth quarter against a tired-out Colts defense. The Texans host the Vikings in Week 16. Despite a tougher matchup, keep trotting out Foster as a top-three running back play.
