Giants re-signed TE Bear Pascoe to a one-year, $715,000 contract.

Pascoe was set to become a restricted free agent on March 12. Instead, the Giants get their blocking tight end under contract cheaply for 2013. He'll provide some insurance in case Martellus Bennett walks as an unrestricted free agent.

Giants TE Bear Pascoe was forced from Sunday's game with an ankle injury, and is doubtful to return.

X-rays came back negative, but it's possible Martellus Bennett's backup has a high-ankle sprain. Pascoe has just three catches in eight games.

Giants re-signed exclusive rights free agent TE Bear Pascoe to a one-year, $540,000 contract.

A no-brainer for the G-Men, who could be without both Jake Ballard and Travis Beckum for the entire 2012 season as they recover from torn ACLs. Extremely limited athletically, Pascoe will back-up free agent signee Martellus Bennett after catching 12 passes for 136 yards last season.

The Giants are expected to re-sign restricted free agent TE Bear Pascoe.

With both Jake Ballard and Travis Beckum recovering from torn ACLs, re-signing Pascoe should be a no-brainer for the Giants despite his limited athleticism. Even if Ballard and Beckum both begin 2012 on the PUP list, Pascoe is unlikely to be worth a look in fantasy leagues.

Bear Pascoe caught two passes for 14 yards in New York's Week 17 win over the Giants.

Playing increased snaps in Jake Ballard's second straight absence, Pascoe managed to stand out by hurtling Cowboys CB Terence Newman on both of his grabs. An ordinary blocker who made only 12 catches this season, Pascoe is no guarantee to be back with New York in 2012.

The Giants currently plan to use Bear Pascoe as their fullback.

The Giants released Madison Hedgecock and then free agent John Kuhn reportedly took less money than New York was offering to stay in Green Bay. Pascoe is a blocking tight end that will compete with undrafted rookie free agent Henry Hynoski. It's unclear if the Giants have interest in free agent LeRon McClain.
