Greg Toler DB IND 3 Months
Colts agreed to terms with CB Greg Toler, formerly of the Cardinals.
The Colts are aggressively addressing needs, signing Toler and OT Gosder Cherilus, while pursuing pass-rusher Cliff Avril. Toler should be in the mix for a starting job, but the injury prone four-year veteran could eventually end up in the slot. He has five packs in 38 career games.

Updating a previous item, the Cardinals have not re-signed free agent CB Greg Toler.
Tim Ring of KTVK Phoenix withdrew his "report" after claiming he mixed up Toler's three-year deal with Rashad Johnson's. Toler remains in the mix for the Browns and Redskins. Per reliable Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic, there's every reason to believe Toler will hit the open market Tuesday at 4PM ET.

Cardinals re-signed CB Greg Toler to a three-year contract.
Toler was drawing quite a bit of interest on the open market, but the Cardinals pegged he and S Rashad Johnson as their two biggest priorities before free agency opened. Arizona locked both players up to three-year deals on Monday night. Toler, at 6-foot and 192 pounds, is a good fit for Todd Bowles press coverage system. We won't pencil him in as the starter opposite Patrick Peterson just yet, but he's certainly the best option right now.

The Washington Examiner's John Keim reports the Redskins have interest in free agent CB Greg Toler.
This is in addition to their Derek Cox interest. The cap-strapped Skins aren't positioned to spend big on free agents, but they will definitely sign at least one corner to replace DeAngelo Hall. Hall figures to be released by Tuesday. Another second- or third-wave free agent corner who might appeal to Washington is E.J. Biggers. Biggers played under DBs coach Raheem Morris in Tampa.

Re-signing free agent CB Greg Toler is a priority for the Cardinals.
Arizona is about $8 million under the salary cap of $123 million. New GM Steve Keim has had discussions with Toler's agent, but there is no indication that they are close to re-signing. Toler appeared in ten games last season after missing all of 2011 with a torn left ACL. If re-signed, Toler would be the favorite to start opposite Patrick Peterson following William Gay's release earlier this month.

Free agent CB Greg Toler's agent plans to meet with the Cardinals this week.
Toler's agent, Hadley Engelhard, met with Arizona brass at the Combine, and both sides seem to be interested in working out a new deal. The Cardinals have just two corners under contract for 2013 at the moment -- Patrick Peterson and 2012 third-rounder Jamell Fleming.

AzCardinals.com "pegs" CB Greg Toler as the team's top free agent they'd like to re-sign.
Toler, 28, has battled injuries for much of his career, missing the entire 2011 season with a torn ACL and suffering a hamstring injury this past season. However, when on the field, Toler has proven to be a capable starter despite getting burned by speed receivers on occasion. CBS' Pete Prisco named Toler his top "under-the-radar, high-value" free agent.

Cardinals CBs Greg Toler (hamstring) and Michael Adams (hamstring) have been listed as doubtful for Week 6.
Toler has garnered one start this season opposite Patrick Peterson, but William Gay supplanted him earlier in the year. Toler came up lame last week after Rams rookie WR Chris Givens victimized him for a 51-yard TD strike. Rookie Jamell Fleming and second-year pro Crezdon Butler will back up Peterson and Gay.
