Marcel Reece caught three passes for 51 yards with a touchdown in Sunday's loss to the Broncos.

Reece certainly isn't used as a tradition fullback. The highly-athletic ex-wideout was consistently deep down the field, showing exceptional hands for a 40-yard score on a seam pattern. Reece now has nine catches and two touchdowns in four games this season.

Raiders FB Marcel Reece (ankle) resumed practicing on Tuesday.

Reece missed four games with the ankle injury, but he should be good to go coming out of the bye against the Broncos in Week 9. Reece has two rushes for 15 yards and six receptions for 43 yards in three games this season.

Raiders declared FB Marcel Reece, FS Michael Huff, DE Matt Shaughnessy, WR Louis Murphy, OT Stephon Heyer, LB Ricky Brown, and CB Chris Johnson out for Week 4 against the Patriots.

Converted tight end Richard Gordon will fill in as Darren McFadden's lead blocker. Huff (concussion, ankle) had a setback after practicing on Wednesday.

His return is uncertain. Reece left without registering a single carry or target. The Raiders will go forward with Rock Cartwright as their fullback for the time being.

Marcel Reece rushed once for 11 yards and caught three passes for 23 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 against the Broncos.

His touchdown came on a 3-yard reception. The explosive fullback is a fun piece for Hue Jackson's offense, but isn't worth owning in fantasy leagues. That being said, he'll see some value if Darren McFadden goes down for an extended period of time with an injury.
