Marcel Reece rushed for 10 yards on four carries and caught just one pass for five yards in Thursday night's Week 14 loss to Denver.

Reece started the game at fullback with Darren McFadden's return to the lineup and saw scant work in the loss. He was targeted just one time in the passing game. With the news that McFadden suffered a setback near the end of the game, Reece could be in line for a bigger role in Week 15. McFadden will have 10 days to try and heal up, but even if he misses, Reece shouldn't be counted on to handle the load in the backfield.

Marcel Reece (hamstring, quad) remained limited in Wednesday's practice, but is listed as probable for Thursday Night Football.

Reece will suit up against the Broncos, but with Darren McFadden (ankle) finally returning, he'll be in for few, if any, snaps at running back. Reece will be back at fullback after being shifted there midway through Sunday's loss. It's possible Jeremy Stewart will serve as McFadden's direct backup, though Mike Goodson (ankle) is also expected to return. Reece is no longer a flex option in 12-team leagues.

Marcel Reece is dealing with hamstring and quadriceps injuries this week.

The injuries explain Jeremy Stewart's increased role versus the Browns as well as the Raiders' Tuesday signing of RB/FB Jamize Olawale from the Cowboys practice squad. With Darren McFadden due back Thursday night, Reece can be dropped in 12-team leagues.

Marcel Reece rushed for 36 yards on just seven carries and caught five passes for 20 yards in Sunday's loss to the Browns in Week 13.

Reece lost running back duties to Jeremy Stewart midway through the game and was pushed to fullback. Stewart got nine totes and turned them into 46 yards. Darren McFadden (ankle) is expected to play on Thursday night against the Broncos, according to head coach Dennis Allen. So, this shouldn't be an issue moving forward. Reece will go back to his tight end/receiver hybrid role.

Jerry McDonald of the Oakland Tribune anticipates Marcel Reece getting "a lot of work" in Week 13 against the Browns, regardless of whether or not Darren McFadden (ankle) and Mike Goodson (ankle) are active.

Reece is the Raiders' best option as a feature back in OC Greg Knapp's system, while McFadden and Goodson are both listed as questionable. Fantasy owners shouldn't be the least bit surprised if Reece continues to receive the majority of the Raiders backfield touches, even if McFadden and Goodson return. It's become clear as the week as gone along that Reece will remain the fantasy bet of the group. At least in Week 13.

Raiders OC Greg Knapp confirmed that Marcel Reece to be used primarily as a halfback as opposed to a fullback in Week 13 versus the Browns.z

Darren McFadden (ankle) will be "eased back into the mix." For those with short memories, Adrian Peterson and Maurice Jones-Drew were also going to be "eased in" early in the season, only to see big workloads once the coaching staff realized they were the best option. In other words, this is likely to be a hot hand situation on Sunday. Neither Raiders back is a strong RB2 option.

Raiders coach Dennis Allen said Marcel Reece will remain involved in the running game even if Darren McFadden (ankle) returns this week.

Both McFadden and Mike Goodson (ankle) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns. In the three games they've been out, Reece has averaged 15.6 carries and ripped off 4.78 YPC. "Marcel has earned the right to carry the ball some," Allen said. "We'll use him in that capacity." The Raiders won't completely go away from Reece, but he's going to see a drastic reduction in overall touches if McFadden does suit up. Only owners in deeper PPR formats would be able to consider him a viable flex play.

Marcel Reece rushed 15 times for 74 yards and caught four passes for 29 yards in the Raiders' Week 12 loss to Cincinnati.

He was targeted eight times in the passing game. The 103 total yards are a relative disappointment for Reece's fantasy owners, but he was always more of a flex play than an elite scorer in the first place. Reece admitted this past week that Darren McFadden (ankle) will resume bellcow back status when he returns. The Raiders face the Browns in Week 13, and DMC's availability is uncertain.

Marcel Reece rushed for 103 yards on 19 carries and caught four passes for 90 yards in Sunday's Week 11, 38-17 loss to the Saints.

Reece was the lone Raiders player to show up for the game. The only thing missing for fantasy owners was a trip to the end zone. Darren McFadden (ankle) and Mike Goodson's (ankle) statuses for Week 12 against the Bengals are still uncertain, but Reece has at least earned himself more opportunities. Reece is a must-hold in fantasy and will get a shot at Cincinnati's No. 20 run defense in Week 12 if DMC is ruled out.

Raiders coach Dennis Allen confirmed he'll stick with the same running back rotation he used last week.

Both Darren McFadden and Mike Goodson are expected to sit out at least one more game. That means Reece, who played on 77.3 percent of the snaps against the Ravens, will be the bell cow once again. He'll be supported by Jeremy Stewart and Taiwan Jones will be sprinkled in if he has a good week of practice. We can safely project another 10-15 carries and 4-7 catches for Reece. This time, he'll be facing the Saints' No. 28 defense.
