Marcel Reece was held to no gain on his lone carry in Oakland's Week 9 loss to the Eagles.

Reece caught just two passes for 22 yards. That's despite the fact that Darren McFadden missed nearly 75 percent of the game with a hamstring injury. Reece was No. 3 on the ball carrier depth chart behind Rashad Jennings and Jeremy Stewart. There's no fantasy value here for the 2012 folk hero.

Marcel Reece managed three rushes for ten yards in the Raiders' Week 8 win over the Steelers.

The Raiders say publicly seemingly every week that they want "more touches" for Reece, but it never happens. He's never a recommended fantasy flex play.

Coach Dennis Allen reiterated the team wants to get Marcel Reece more touches.

"We've got to do a better job of making sure we put him in positions where he's getting his touches because he is a good player for us," Allen said. This isn't the first time the Raiders have expressed a desire to get Reece more looks. GM Reggie McKenzie said the same thing a month ago. Reece touched the ball one time last week. There just aren't enough balls to go around in Oakland.

Marcel Reece caught one pass for nine yards in Oakland's Week 6 loss to the Chiefs, and was held without a carry.

Reece wasn't a part of the running game with both Darren McFadden (hamstring) and Rashad Jennings (hamstring) healthy and active. Reece can be safely cut loose in fantasy leagues.

Marcel Reece (knee) participated in Raiders practice again Friday.

Reece will be all systems go against the Chiefs, but hasn't been a big part of the Raiders' offense in terms of touches. He's not a fantasy option.

Marcel Reece (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Reece played the entire second half in Sunday's win over the Chargers and didn't suffer any setbacks. He isn't in any danger of missing Week 6. With Darren McFadden and Rashad Jennings also practicing on a limited basis, Reece is looking unlikely to start at running back this week.

Marcel Reece had seven carries for 32 yards in Sunday night's Week 5 win over San Diego.

Reece was able to play the entire game despite being listed as questionable with a knee injury. With Rashad Jennings (hamstring) sidelined, he took over as the lead back in the second half and was the more effective runner. He added three catches for 25 yards and remains a factor in red-zone and passing situations. Reece could come into fantasy value this week if both Jennings and Darren McFadden are held out.

Raiders FB Marcel Reece (knee, questionable) was limited in Friday's practice.

Reece is more likely than not to be active in Sunday's late-night bout with San Diego, though it's not a sure thing and his role is totally up in the air in terms of touches. Look for Rashad Jennings to get the bulk of the carries.

Marcel Reece (knee) practiced for the second straight day Thursday.

Reece will likely be "limited" for the second consecutive day, but he's suddenly a possibility for Sunday's late-night game. Rashad Jennings will still be the better fantasy bet, but it will be a situation to avoid if it becomes clear Reece is going to suit up against the Chargers.

Marcel Reece (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Reece, whose MRI came back negative, was spotted going through some drills with teammates at the early part of practice. It suggests he at least has an outside shot at suiting up against the Chargers Sunday. If that's the case, Reece and Rashad Jennings would form a committee. Owners that added Jennings as a plug-n-play for this week need to follow Reece's status closely.
