Rocco expects to be kicking again by April. The 39-year-old is a free agent in 2013. He wants to play for another 2-3 years. Rocca finished in the middle of the pack in Pro Football Focus' punter ratings for 2012.

Rocca was injured while jogging after practice this week, and there was some concern about his availability for Week 7. The Redskins worked out three free agent punters on Friday. Rocca has a net average of 37.3 yards-per-punt with nine inside the 20 through six games.
