Broncos placed MLB Stewart Bradley (wrist) and LB Lerentee McCray (undisclosed) on injured reserve, ending their seasons. Bradley was in line to surpass Nate Irving for starting duties before going under the knife two weeks ago. Now he'll enter 2014 having made just one start since 2010. He'll have to troll for back-up jobs in free agency.

Broncos MLB Stewart Bradley is out indefinitely after undergoing wrist surgery. He could be a candidate for I.R., depending on the results of surgery. Bradley had bypassed Nate Irving as Denver's starting middle linebacker. They'll now move WLB Wesley Woodyard to the middle, with Danny Trevathan starting at weak-side 'backer and Shaun Phillips replacing suspended Von Miller on the strong side. Injuries are absolutely crippling the Broncos' defense.

Stewart Bradley is pushing Nate Irving for the Broncos' starting middle linebacker job. Bradley actually started Thursday's preseason opener against the 49ers, recording six tackles while playing most of the first half. "We'll take a hard look at the tape and see who executed the best in the game situation and move from there," said head coach John Fox. Neither player really stood out, and we don't expect the winner of this battle to have much IDP value this season.

Broncos signed LB Stewart Bradley, formerly of the Cardinals, to a one-year contract. Bradley was released by Arizona two weeks ago, and Denver was his only free-agent visit. He's expected to compete with Nate Irving and, to a degree, Steven Johnson for the starting middle linebacker job. Bradley turns 30 in November, and his signing likely means Joe Mays will be released.

Free agent LB Stewart Bradley will visit the Broncos. Bradley was a colossal bust in Arizona, and was just released by the team earlier this month. Denver has a hole at middle linebacker, and they might offer him a chance to compete with Nate Irving for the job.

The Cardinals could save $3.5 million in cap space by releasing ILB Stewart Bradley.

Cardinals ILB Stewart Bradley is entering training camp as a strict backup to Paris Lenon. Bradley decreased his salary from $5 million to $2.5 million this offseason and is expected provided depth at all four linebacker positions, so he'll see more playing time than a typical backup. Lenon is returning as the starter opposite Daryl Washington. Sam Acho and O'Brien Schofield are entrenched at outside linebacker.

Cardinals ILB Stewart Bradley has agreed to decrease his salary from $5 million to $2.5 million this season. Injury-prone but effective in four years with the Eagles, Bradley failed to adjust to Ray Horton's 3-4 defense in the desert. Bradley never could beat out Paris Lenon, finishing the season with under 20 percent of the Cardinals' defensive snaps. With Lenon entering his age-35 season, Bradley should get another shot in camp.

Through five games, Cardinals ILB Stewart Bradley has only been on the field for 19.5 percent of the team's defensive snaps. The Cardinals gave Bradley a $10 million signing bonus on a five-year, $25 million contract in late July. He's failed to crack the inside linebacker rotation behind Paris Lenon and Daryl Washington, managing just 14 tackles on the season. Needless to day, he's been a colossal free agent bust thus far.
