Brent Celek (concussion) participated in Monday's practice.

It was just an informal session after the Eagles played on Thursday Night Football, but Celek is expected to be cleared for Sunday's game against the Redskins. Celek's production has been spotty under rookie QB Nick Foles, and he won't be a recommended option for the fantasy finals.

Eagles declared TE Brent Celek, RB LeSean McCoy, QB Michael Vick, WR Greg Salas, OT Matt Kopa, RB Chris Polk, and FS Kurt Coleman inactive for Thursday night's game against the Bengals.

Celek, Vick, and McCoy are all battling concussions. Vick has been cleared by an independent neurologist, so he'll be back as the No. 2 quarterback next week. Celek also has a good chance of returning for Week 16. McCoy is the furthest away but not by much. Coleman has a chest injury. Jeremy Maclin (groin, probable) is active and starting.

Brent Celek (concussion) is already back to baseline.

Celek's concussion isn't nearly as severe as the ones sustained by teammates Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy. He won't play Thursday, but the Eagles are not expected to put him on injured reserve either. Celek has a shot to get cleared for Week 16.

Texans

It's never a good day when the backups are in the game with six minutes still remaining. In those closing minutes, second string quarterback T.J. Yates nearly outscored starter Matt Scahub. In short, it was a bad day for all Texans players.

Patriots

We had our first real Brandon Lloyd sighting since week eight. The much maligned wide receiver suddenly showed up with his fourth and fifth touchdowns of the season - although touchdown number two was a fluky fumble recovery in the end zone. I'm still not banking my championship hopes on Lloyd's sporadic production.

Aaron Hernandez has fully returned from his ankle injury delivering two touchdowns. Just in time.

Tuesday Morning Quick Hits

Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron was fired yesterday. Expect a heavier dose of Ray Rice moving forward.

•Dwayne Bowe has been diagnosed with two broken ribs. He's likely done for the season.

•Neither Michael Vick nor LeSean McCoy has been medically cleared to return. Early indications have both Bryce Brown and Nick Foles once again starting for the Eagles in Week 15.

•Dez Bryant is seeing a hand specialist to examine a torn tendon in his finger. If the injury requires surgery, he could be lost for the season.

•Ahmad Bradshaw is undergoing a battery of tests on his injured knee. David Wilson has sudden waiver wire appeal.

•The Bills have lost Fred Jackson for the remainder of the season with a knee injury. To the bain of head coach Chan Gailey, C.J. Spiller will finally carry the load and be given a chance to equal his RB1 hype.

•The extent of Brandon Pettigrew's ankle injury has yet to be determined. Tony Scheffler would assume the starting role with low end TE1 potential.

Eagles tight end Brent Celek has already been ruled out for Week 15. Jason Avant has sudden WR3 appeal for those owners hurting at the position.

•Last but not least, RG III has been diagnosed with a "mild sprain." I'd be willing to bet my left arm he won't play next week.

Good Luck to all next weekend. Hope to see yeah on the flip side.

Fantasy 411 - Week 15 (fantasysharks.com)

The final few weeks of the fantasy football season comes with its own set of challenges. Teams are not only fighting through a litany of injuries, but many teams who find themselves out of contention are quietly beginning the process of preparing for next season. With several young and emerging players getting extended looks setting your fantasy playoff roster can be tougher than ever to fill out. Which situations should you be monitoring as we close the season out?

No waiver wire addition will draw more attention than David Wilson this week, and the interest is well warranted. Wilson eclipsed 100 yards and was responsible for three total touchdowns in the Giants thumping of the Saints. Wilson was already receiving an expanded role with Andre Brown landing on injured reserve. As if that opportunity was not enough, we find out that Ahmad Bradshaw is banged up with a knee injury. Owners who have Bradshaw have to cash in the insurance policy with Wilson. A start or two down the stretch would make Wilson a must-own player in all leagues.

With the Cowboys pushing to make a run towards the playoffs in the muddled NFC East the ominous word out of Dallas on Monday is that Dez Bryant suffered a finger injury that may require season ending surgery. This season Bryant has focused on beating defensive backs and has developed in to an every week WR1 starter. Teams who have relied on Bryant to get them to this point will need to prepare for his possible absence.

Danario Alexander is a solid option that fantasy owners should give consideration to adding to fill in at reveiver. Alexander has always had the talent to perform at a high level and this season he has shown that ability to stay healthy and is getting reps as a starter. Alexander displaced Robert Meachem half way through the season and has been developing a nice rapport with quarterback Philip Rivers. Despite some tougher matchups, Alexander should be added for owners who need depth at receiver.

With DeSean Jackson's season over, the Eagles' Jason Avant has had an opportunity to step in to a starting role. Avant does not possess the overall talent that Jackson offers, but he does have reliable hands and veteran savvy. Avant hauled in seven catches for over 100 yards on Sunday against the Buccaneers and will offer your fantasy squad a reliable option over the last several weeks if you find yourself desperate at receiver.

Brent Celek (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 15.

With the Eagles playing on Thursday Night Football, Celek had no shot of getting cleared on a short week. His absence will leave Clay Harbor as Nick Foles' primary, and currently only, tight end. Harbor caught six passes for 52 yards in Celek's absence Sunday. With 13 days to heal up, Celek will likely be ready to roll for Week 16, though the Eagles have proven conservative with their concussion policy.

Eagles TE Brent Celek left Sunday's Week 14 game against the Steelers in the first quarter with a concussion.

On the Eagles' very first drive of the game, Celek took a shot from Bucs LB Lavonte David and was quickly taken to the locker room. The concussion diagnosis came very shortly thereafter. Celek joins Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy as Eagles' starting skill players sidelined by concussions, and neither of those two are expected back anytime soon. Clay Harbor is the only other tight end active for the Eagles Sunday.
