Micheal Spurlock WR DET 8 Months
The Union-Tribune San Diego believes free agent WR/KR Micheal Spurlock could be an option for the Cowboys.
Dallas' interest level isn't known, but Spurlock has followed new special teams coach Rich Bisaccia around for his entire career. Spurlock, 30, would be nothing more than depth. A return to San Diego also hasn't been ruled out.

Micheal Spurlock caught seven passes for 64 yards in the Chargers' Week 14 win over the Steelers.
Spurlock is a return specialist that had 14 catches all season coming into this one. But he was able to get open on some quick outs and slants with Eddie Royal sidelined and caught all seven of the balls that came his way. Don't expect a repeat performance against the Panthers in Week 15.

Chargers claimed WR Micheal Spurlock off waivers from the Jaguars.
RB Curtis Brinkley was waived in a corresponding move. A return specialist, Spurlock made 14 catches for 121 yards in six games with the Jags. He shouldn't crack the Chargers' muddled receiver rotation.

Chargers signed KR Micheal Spurlock, formerly of the Bucs.
The 29-year-old Spurlock holds a career punt return average of 8.1 and averages 25.1 yards on kickoff returns. Almost strictly a special teamer, Spurlock will compete with Roscoe Parrish and Richard Goodman for one or two roster spots, depending on how many receivers San Diego keeps on its 53-man roster.

Bucs declared WR Micheal Spurlock, CB Anthony Gaitor, DE Daniel Te'o-Nesheim, LB Zac Diles, DE Michael Bennett, G Derek Hardman, and T James Lee inactive for Week 12 against the Titans.
Da'Quan Bowers will replace Bennett as Tampa's starting left end. Otherwise, this is a mostly healthy roster without injury excuses.

The Bucs might use WR Michael Spurlock as their third quarterback.
Spurlock, who played some quarterback at Ole Miss, has been getting reps at the position in camp. It's bad news for Rudy Carpenter and Jonathan Crompton, who were thought to be competing for the No. 3 role behind Josh Freeman and Josh Johnson.
