Anthony Fasano (knee/ankle) remained limited in Thursday's practice.

It's the same routine the TE2 followed in Week 8 before catching two passes for eight yards against the Browns. He'll be active for Sunday's game against the Browns.

Anthony Fasano had two catches for eight yards in Week 8 against the Browns.

Fasano continues to play through a knee injury and lost playing time to Sean McGrath, who finished with two catches for 25 yards. He was targeted just three times in the passing game. Fasano will be nothing more than a low-end TE in Week 9 against the Bills.

Anthony Fasano (knee, ankle) remained limited in Thursday's practice.

The Chiefs will likely manage their veteran tight end's practice reps for the rest of the season. Even with six teams on bye, Fasano is a low-end TE2.

Anthony Fasano (knee, ankle) was limited in practice Wednesday.

Fasano played over 90 percent of the snaps in Week 7, his first game back since Week 2. The Chiefs were likely just taking it easy on him. Fasano is a low TE2.

Anthony Fasano played 91.5 percent of the Chiefs' offensive snaps in his return to the lineup on Sunday.

Fasano missed four games with knee and ankle issues before playing 65-of-71 snaps against the Texans. Coach Andy Reid hinted that will remain the case going forward. "That's an important position in this offense," Reid said. "With the exception of the running backs, it's the closest eligible receiver to the quarterback 99 percent of the time. Normally, it ends up being your quarterback's security blanket." Fasano is just a TE2, while Sean McGrath is back off the fantasy radar.

Active for the first time since Week 2, Anthony Fasano caught four passes for 27 yards in Kansas City's Week 7 win over the Texans.

Fasano was immediately reinserted into the starting lineup, and will remain there going forward. He's not a particularly compelling plug-and-play TE2 in Kansas City's conservative offense.

Anthong Fasano (knee) is active for Week 7 against the Texans.

Fasano had been sidelined since Week 2. He could split snaps with Sean McGrath this afternoon, but should be Kansas City's No. 1 tight end going forward. Inactive for the Chiefs are C Eric Kush, OG Rishaw Johnson, QB Tyler Bray, TE Kevin Brock, S Bradley McDougald, LB Dezman Moses and DL Jaye Howard.

Chiefs TE Anthony Fasano (knee/ankle, probable) was limited in Friday's practice.

The probable tag means Fasano is expected to play Sunday against the Texans. We'd hold off on rostering Fasano outside of 14- and 16-team leagues, but he's going to be Alex Smith's primary tight end moving forward. After a Week 6 goose egg, expect Sean McGrath to take a backseat in the passing attack.

Anthony Fasano (ankle, knee) was limited in Wednesday and Thursday's practices.

it's a sign Fasano might finally be ready to return, though the Chiefs may just be ramping up his reps with an eye toward a return to full practice in Week 8. Either way, Fasano is miles from fantasy relevance.

Anthony Fasano (ankle, knee) is doubtful for Week 6 against the Raiders.

Fasano remained out of practice this week and is without a set timetable to return. The Chiefs will continue to go with fill-in TE Sean McGrath (probable, knee) in his absence.
