Roddy White WR ATL 2 Months

White (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Saints.

White was listed as probable for the game after practicing fully Friday, and he could take on big load against the Saints, as Julio Jones is active but still dealing with a hip injury that has kept him from practicing for the last two weeks.

White (knee) is probable for Sunday's game against New Orleans.

White missed Wednesday's practice, but that was evidently just for rest purposes. He practiced Thursday and Friday, logging a full practice Friday. He's a strong fantasy wideout this week with Julio Jones (hip) highly questionable after sitting out all of this week's practices.

White (knee) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.

After a no-show Wednesday, White appears to be easing into the week of prep. However, he hasn't been listed with a knee injury since early in the current campaign, allowing clouds to enter the scene. If his status is confirmed entering the weekend, he'll likely act as the top wide receiver for Matt Ryan due to Julio Jones' lingering hip issue.

White (knee) returned to practice Thursday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.

The extent of White's activity isn't known, but his presence implies that he's on a track to active status Sunday in New Orleans. Meanwhile, Julio Jones (hip) has yet to make an appearance this week and will be a game-time call this weekend, meaning White could again be the No. 1 target of Matt Ryan.

White (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.

Julio Jones (hip) and Harry Douglas (foot) also sat out Wednesday's practice, though at this stage, of the Falcons' three banged-up wideouts, Jones' Week 16 status is the diciest. He's viewed as a game-day call for Sunday's game against the Saints.

White wasn't present at the start of practice Wednesday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.

The reason for White's absence isn't known, but his lingering ankle concern is the likely culprit. While his status should receive clarity as the week continues, there's no indication that he's in danger of sitting out Sunday's game in New Orleans.

White had seven catches on 10 targets for 58 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Steelers.

Despite the absence of Julio Jones (hip), White was having a fairly pedestrian game until catching a four-yard touchdown with 10:21 left in the fourth quarter to bring the Falcons to within seven points. Harry Douglas led the way by catching 10 passes on 14 targets for 131 yards, while Devin Hester also scored a touchdown, as quarterback Matt Ryan reached the 300-yard mark for the third consecutive game. Up next is a Week 16 matchup against the Saints, who are allowing the fourth-most passing yards per game this season.

White (ankle) is active for Sunday's contest versus the Steelers, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

With Julio Jones (hip) sidelined, White is the Falcons' acting No. 1 receiver, which should provide a significant platform to produce against a Pittsburgh defense that has allowed 17.8 YPC and nine touchdown receptions to wideouts in the last six games.

White (ankle) is probable for Sunday's game against Pittsburgh.

White practiced all week, including a full practice Friday, so he should be at or near full strength. Going against a weak Pittsburgh secondary with Julio Jones (hip) highly questionable, White looks like a very good on-paper play this week.

White (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice, the Falcons' official site reports.

White entered Monday's game in Green Bay with questionable status and merely one limited practice under his belt. However, he proceeded to play 63 of the Falcons' 67 offensive snaps, according to ESPN.com, en route to three catches (on five targets) for 42 yards and one touchdown. Afterward, he wouldn't place a percentage on the health of his left ankle, but since he was able to play, he said, "That means I'm 100 percent, and I'm ready to go." Expect a similar sentiment to result in active status Sunday against the Steelers.
