Vikings CB Benny Sapp has been cited for misdemeanor assault after a Friday morning incident with security at a Minneapolis children's hospital.
Attempting to leave the hospital after dropping off his son, Sapp allegedly had two separate confrontations with security officers as he attempted to use a blocked-off exit. Sapp was only cited, and not arrested. The Vikings have said they are "aware" of the incident. Sapp has graded out positively by Pro Football Focus since being signed by the Vikes in November.

Vikings signed CB Benny Sapp, formerly of the Dolphins.
Sapp hasn't played this year since being released following Tom Brady's 517-yard regular season opener. He's a special teamer and dime back at best.

Dolphins released CB Benny Sapp.
Sapp is the scapegoat for Tom Brady's 517-yard performance after taking a stiff-arm from Wes Welker on the late-game 99-yard touchdown play. To be fair, Sapp also made a savvy play jumping the route that led to Brady's lone interception. The Dolphins will apparently look for an upgrade.
