The Rams have signed Herring to fill the void left by the release of Ray-Ray Armstrong, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Herring should also play on special teams, as Armstrong's departure leaves a void there as well. Herring had 16 tackles and an interception with the Saints last season.

Saints agreed to terms with OLB Will Herring on a three-year contract. Herring has made just seven starts in his first four NFL seasons, operating mostly as Seattle's fourth linebacker. He should enter a competition with Jonathan Casillas, Jo-Lonn Dunbar, and Martez Wilson at each of the outside spots. We'd avoid the Saints' linebackers in IDP leagues aside from MLB Jon Vilma.
