Titus Young's trial has been delayed again. Young is facing 11 charges, including four counts of felony burglary, for his alleged 2013 crime spree. According to his lawyer, he is "receiving treatment and is in a safe place." Young has been dealing with mental issues for well over a year. Although he's still only 24, his NFL career appears over.

Free agent Titus Young is "close" to a plea deal on the 11 charges he faces from his May 2013 crime spree. Young is charged with four felonies, so he's likely facing jail time. Getting his myriad charges behind him would be the first step toward reviving his football career, though it's unclear if Young has any intention of returning to the gridiron. The troubled former second-round pick is still only 24 years old.

An arrest warrant has been issued for ex-Lions WR Titus Young after he missed a court appearance on Tuesday. Sad. Young has been missing court appearances all summer, but the judge had allowed it because Young was receiving some sort of treatment. However, the judge mandated that Young show up Tuesday, and he didn't. Young is now headed to jail unless the sides can reach some sort of an agreement. Clearly not well, Young could be allowed to report to a medical facility.

Free agent Titus Young's lawyer says he's "still suffering from concussions." Per Young's lawyer, he was excused from his second straight court appearance Tuesday as he continued to undergo "psychiatric evaluation and (treatment related) to concussions he suffered while playing football." It's yet to be determined if Young will be well enough to make his next court appearance. It appears the legal system believes Young was not of a sound mind when he went on his May crime spree.

Free agent Titus Young has been released from jail after posting bond. Young spent 27 days in the Orange County Jail. He's still facing numerous charges, including drunk driving, burglary, and assaulting a police officer. Jail was probably the best thing for Young. His parents refused to bail him out because he was "anchored" there. Young's next court date is set for June 24.

Free agent Titus Young has been charged with trespassing and entering land with intent of interfering with lawful business. Both are misdemeanors, and they stem from his early-May arrest in which he tried to steal his impounded car from a tow-company parking lot. The NFL says it "reached out" to free agent Titus Young before his off-the-field meltdown, but that he declined help. "It was someone very, very close to him who was just concerned - really concerned," said Troy Vincent, the league's director of player engagement. "We went to people very close to his center of influence, to reach out to see how we can support him. The response was of someone who is not open arms to being supported." People close to Young clearly saw his unhinged behavior coming, but it appears he declined any and all offers of help. Now Young is facing up to 10 years of prison on 11 different charges. It's a sad situation.
