Gipson was added to the Jaguars' injury report on Saurday, and is now listed as questionable due to a knee issue, Tad Dickman of Jaguars.com reports.
Gipson missed practice earlier in the week, but was ultimately removed from the team's injury report on Friday. However, he apparently has suffered somewhat of a setback given his addition to the report on Saturday. Gipson has started every game this season at free safety, but Petyon Thomas figures to be next in line if he is unable to go on Sunday.

Gipson (knee) did not participate in Monday's practice.
Gipson sprained his knee in Week 4, but was subsequently allowed the Jaguars' bye week to rest and rehab. However, he doesn't appear to have favorable odds of playing on Sunday, though his participation in practice the rest of the week will likely provide more clarity.

Gipson sprained his knee in Sunday's win over the Colts and will rehab throughout the week.
The Jaguars head into their bye week fresh off their first win of the season, which will give Gipson some much needed time to rest. Look for more updates to come next week as the team prepares for a Week 6 tilt with the Bears. In the meantime, expect Peyton Thompson to work with the first-team defense in practice.

Gipson (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against the Ravens.
Gipson had a hamstring concern earlier in the week that limited him in practice Friday, but his listing as questionable leading up to Sunday's game was likely precautionary. He is listed as the starting free safety on the Jaguars' depth chart.

The Jaguars have signed Gipson, the Florida Times-Union reports.
Gipson, who turns 26 in August, will bolster the Jaguars' free safety position, an area that the team has been trying to beef up. He's coming off a 2015 season in which he notched 60 tackles in two picks in 13 games, though in 2014 Gipson's ball-hawking skills were evident, as he picked off six passes in 11 games for the Browns.

Gipson, who recorded three solo tackles in Sunday's loss to the Steelers, finished the season with 60 combined tackles (42) solo) and two interceptions.
Gipson led the team in interceptions a season ago, but opposing quarterbacks were a bit more careful with him in 2015. Furthermore, he missed three straight games in the first half of the season to an ankle injury. One bright spot on Gipson's season is the fact he was able to surpass his 2014 tackle total (52), but the lack of turnovers left fantasy owners with much to be desired. He's worth a flier in IDP drafts next season, with prospective owners banking on the fact he'll be able to get his turnover total back up in 2016.

Gipson (illness) is active Sunday against the Steelers.
Just as Gipson started to get over an ankle injury that plagued him for most of the early part of the season, he came down with an illness that put his Week 10 status in jeopardy. It looks like he's healthy enough, though, and will suit up and start alongside Jordan Poyer, who gets the start in place of Donte Whitner (concussion).
