Dawson finished the 2014 season on a strong note, hitting both field goal attempts (37, 53) and converting both extra point attempts in Sunday's win over the Cardinals.

Dawson saw his production dip in the second half due to the offensive struggles of the 49ers' offense. But he put together a solid campaign in 2014, hitting 25-of-31 field goal attempts, including 5-of-9 from beyond 50 yards. Dawson is under contract through the 2016 season and proved that he can still kick at a high level despite his advanced age of 39.

Dawson made five extra points but missed his only field-goal attempt in Saturday's overtime loss to the Chargers.

The field goal was a 60-yard try at the end of regulation that would have won it for the 49ers but was so short that it never had a shot. The 39-year-old has made multiple field goals just once in his last five games.

Dawson did not attempt a field goal in Sunday's loss to the Seahawks.

This was the first time all season that Dawson did not line up for a field goal. He would have had a chip-in opportunity early in the game, but the 49ers opted to go for it on fourth down and ended up getting into the endzone for their only score of the day. Dawson should have more opportunities for points at home against the Chargers next week.

Dawson was 2-for-3 (20, 52) in field goal attempts in Sunday's loss to the Raiders.

Dawson had an uncharacteristic miss wide-left from 47 yards, but he also had a 54-yard field goal nullified by an offensive holding penalty. He has been a solid option at kicker this season, but with a likely low-scoring matchup with the Seahawks on the horizon, it may be wise to look at other options for week 15.

Dawson only had one field goal attempt Thursday, converting the 40-yarder in the 19-3 loss to the Seahawks.

Nothing that Dawson could have done here, as the 49ers' offense struggled to move the ball into Seahawks' territory for the majority of the game. This was the first time the 49ers' failed to score a touchdown in a game this season, limiting Dawson's scoring to the lone field goal. Next week's matchup against the Raiders should provide more scoring opportunities, making Dawson a safe option looking forward.

Dawson converted all three of his field goal attempts (31, 37, 44) and added an extra point in the 16-10 win over the Giants on Sunday.

The veteran kicker continues to be a great kicking option this season, hitting 19-of-23 attempts on the year.

Dawson was a perfect 2-for-2 in field goal attempts (35, 45) and 3-for-3 in extra points against the Saints on Sunday.

Dawson hit both of his high-pressure field goal attempts to send Sunday's game into overtime, and then to eventually clinch the win for the 49ers. He will take his 80.0 percent field goal conversion rate into next week's matchup against the Giants.

Dawson was 1-for-2 on field goal attempts Sunday, hitting from 34 yards, but missing from 55 in the loss to the Rams.

The 55-yard miss right before the end of the first half was crucial as the 49ers ended up losing by three points Sunday. Even with the miss, Dawson is still a solid 4-of-6 from 50-plus yards this season.

Dawson hit a 22-yard field goal Sunday, but missed from 51 in the loss to the Broncos.

The miss was his first from 50+ this season. He is now a respectable 13-for-16 in field goal attempts. His home and away splits are glaring though, as he is a perfect 11-for-11 at home as opposed to 2-for-5 on the road. The 49ers return home to face the Rams after the bye week, making Dawson a solid option to consider in week 9.

Dawson nailed his only field goal attempt of 54 yards Monday, also hitting all four extra point attempts in the 31-17 win over the Rams.

Dawson had converted nine field goals over his last two games, so Monday's performance brought him back down to earth a bit. He remains a great kicking option for a team that is notorious for driving the ball into enemy territory, but failing to convert on touchdowns.
