Folk connected on one of two field-goal attempts, both from 50+ yards, and hit both of his PATs during Sunday's loss to the Patriots.

EDGE Analysis

Folk was successful on a 51-yard attempt to open the scoring in the first quarter, but his 54-yarder with just over two minutes left in the first half was blocked. Folk has now had one or zero successful field goals in five of his last six games, and with the struggles of the Jets' offense overall, he's hardly a high upside fantasy kicking option.

Folk was not given a field-goal attempt and missed his only PAT during Sunday's 9-7 loss to the Rams.

EDGE Analysis

The Jets' offense really struggled to move the ball Sunday with Bryce Petty under center, though they hadn't been doing much before then anyway, as Folk had connected on more than one field goal just twice since Week 2. Fantasy owners who are stuck with Folk will have to look for an alternative in Week 11 during the Jets' bye before they take on the Patriots in Week 12.

Folk connected on all three of his field-goal attempts (23, 21 and 28 yards) and both of his PATs in Sunday's loss to the Dolphins.

EDGE Analysis

Folk's three field-goal attempts were the most he's had in a game since Week 2 against Buffalo, and with the Jets' offense continuing to struggle, there's little reason for optimism that he'll get many more opportunities in Week 10 against the Rams.

Folk connected on a 39-yard field goal, his only attempt of the game, during Monday's loss to the Cardinals.

EDGE Analysis

The Jets' offense has really struggled to move the ball over the past few weeks, leaving Folk with multiple field-goal attempts just once in the last four games. Given their inability to get him into field-goal range, Folk is a fairly weak fantasy option in most formats.

Folk converted two field-goal attempts and his lone PAT in the Jets' 31-13 loss to the Steelers on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

Folk's production has waned since nailing three field goals in each of the season's first two games, but he simply hasn't seen many field-goal attempts with the Jets' offense struggling as of late. However, he still ranks amongst the top-10 kickers in field goal makes this year and has already displayed a high fantasy ceiling on two separate occasions, making Folk a serviceable option in nearly all formats.

Folk connected on 3 of 4 field goal attempts and 1 of 2 PATs during Sunday's 23-22 loss to the Bengals.

EDGE Analysis

Folk's misses proved to be very costly in a game the Jets ultimately lost by one, with his field-goal miss coming on a 22-yard attempt (in fairness, it was blocked) and his missed extra point coming on his very next try. He was a fairly reliable option last season, and the Jets' offense is good enough to give him enough opportunities to stay fantasy relevant, but Folk is far from a high-end option. Up next is a Week 2 trip to Buffalo.

Folk (quadriceps) has resumed kicking, Seth Walder of the New York Daily News reports.

EDGE Analysis

Folk sustained a Grade 1 quadriceps strain during pregame warmups in Week 9, and his fate for the season was sealed just two days later when he landed on injured reserve. In a seven-game sample prior to the injury, his success rate on field goals (13-for-16, or 81.3 percent) was in line with his career mark of 80.6 percent. Of note, though, was a perfect 19-for-19 from the new extra-point distance, which ensures his stature as the Jets' clear-cut kicker, assuming he regains his previous prowess.

The Jets placed Folk (quad) on injured reserve Tuesday.

EDGE Analysis

It appeared Folk would be able to return to action later this year despite straining his quad Sunday against the Jaguars, but the Jets ultimiately decided to place him on injured reserve, which opens up a roster spot but brings Folk's season to a close. Randy Bullock will take over as the Jets' kicker moving forward.

Folk is expected to miss a month due to a Grade-1 quadriceps strain, ESPN's Rich Cimini reports.

EDGE Analysis

As a result, the Jets reportedly worked out Billy Cundiff, Garrett Hartley, Kyle Brindza and Randy Bullock on Monday, as the team scrambles to line up a new kicker in advance of Thursday's game against the Bills.

Folk is dealing with a Grade 1 quadriceps strain and is not expected to play Thursday against the Bills, Newsday reports.

EDGE Analysis

After suffering a quad injury in warm-ups in advance of Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Folk was limited to holding duties, while punter Ryan Quigley served as the team's place-kicker in the contest. With Folk currently ailing, look for the Jets to sign another kicker in short order.
