The Eagles have released Austin, philly.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Austin, who was inactive Sunday against the Patriots, caught 13 passes for 224 yards and a TD in 11 games for the Eagles this season. The 31-year-old will now look to catch on with a team in need of wideout depth down the stretch.

Austin was inactive in Sunday's 35-28 win over the Patriots.
EDGE Analysis
This was the first time Austin was among the Eagles' inactives all season. After the team signed wide receiver Jonathan Krause during the week, Krause was active and had a six-yard catch against his former team, and head coach Chip Kelly was effusive in his praise of Krause's work ethic and ability. Krause's arrival and success might spell the end of Austin's productive time in Philadelphia, especially considering Krause is significantly younger than Austin, a veteran.

Austin dropped his only target of the game in Sunday's 45-17 loss to the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
After a surprisingly hot start to the season, Austin has one catch in the Eagles' past three games. With tight ends Zach Ertz and Brent Celek contributing more in the air, and the Eagles' offense continuing to struggle in terms of finding a rhythm, Austin's production has plummeted. He also had problems with dropping passes in the Eagles' loss to the Dolphins, and has seen his role in the offense minimized in recent weeks.

Austin didn't catch a pass despite seeing a number of targets in Sunday's 20-19 loss to the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
After an unexpected strong start to the season, Austin has hampered the Eagles' offense in recent weeks, no more than when he failed to haul in a touchdown pass in the fourth quarter against the Dolphins. He continues to see plenty of targets, from both Sam Bradford and Mark Sanchez, but Austin's ability to turn those targets into production has wavered, and, on Sunday, disappeared entirely. With Bradford's status in question for Week 11, Austin's value is extremely limited against Tampa Bay.

Austin caught one pass for 27 yards in Sunday's 33-27 win over the Cowboys.
EDGE Analysis
Before the Eagles' bye week, Austin was excelling and fellow wide receiver Jordan Matthews couldn't catch a pass. In the Eagles' first game after the week off, however, the script was reversed. Austin caught just one of three targets, and Matthews was the game-breaking wideout the Eagles expect him to be. With quarterback Sam Bradford involving running backs and tight ends in the passing game pretty heavily, Austin's role will probably be limited at best going forward.

Austin caught four balls for 52 yards in Sunday's 27-16 loss to the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
On a night filled with Eagles wideouts dropping quarterback Sam Bradford's passes, Austin saved his for the Eagles' last chance of a game-tying drive. Otherwise, however, Austin was the team's leading receiver all night long, an intriguing heel-turn for the veteran wideout. The Eagles' offense couldn't find much of a rhythm through the air against Carolina, but if Bradford and the offense can find consistency after the bye week, Austin could be an intriguing deep-league play.

Austin caught three passes for 60 yards in Monday's 27-7 win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Austin continues to see plenty of targets from quarterback Sam Bradford in a strange-but-true late-career renaissance. Bradford's play was errant again on Monday night, but Austin still managed to set a season-high in yards. The veteran wideout is little more than a reach for any team's starting lineup, but with a lack of production from fellow wide receivers Jordan Matthews and Nelson Agholor, Austin will likely continue to have balls thrown his way, at least in the immediate future.

Austin caught two passes for 51 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to Washington.
EDGE Analysis
Austin set a season-high in yards and scored his first touchdown of the year as quarterback Sam Bradford and the Eagles' offense finally clicked for a brief stretch in the second half. Despite limited production, Bradford has consistently targeted Austin on deep balls in the first four games, likely because of ideal coverage matchups. If Bradford can build on his best performance of the year, Austin could theoretically turn into a deep-bench option at wide receiver.

Austin caught two passes for 14 yards in Saturday's 39-26 win over the Packers.
EDGE Analysis
Austin has seen a moderate number of targets through the Eagles' first three preseason games. He won't be higher than fifth at wide receiver on their depth chart when the season begins, but with an offense predicated on spreading targets and touches, he could theoretically see a few mildly successful games during the regular season. Still, he'll likely be a stretch for any fantasy owner's bench.

The Eagles have signed Austin to a one-year contract, ESPN.com reports. Per the report, Austin's deal with the Eagles is worth $2.3 million, with the potential for him to earn an additional $700,000 in incentives. Austin caught 47 passes for 568 yards and two touchdowns with the Browns this past season, before missing the team's final four games with a kidney injury. Austin -- who turns 31 in June -- has missed 15 games over the past four season due to injuries, but assuming he can stay on the field, he'll provide added depth and experience to an Eagles' wideout corps that bid adieu to starter Jeremy Maclin in free agency. Austin is thus in line to jostle with the likes of Riley Cooper, Jordan Matthews and Josh Huff for slotting on the team's 2015 depth chart at the position.
