Guion agreed to terms to rejoin the Packers in 2015-16 on a one-year contract, ESPN reports.

Guion had some offseason issues that have cheapened his contract heading into the season, especially considering a fine and possible suspension await him to start the season. When he becomes available, the big man figures to fit in at nose tackle for the Packers once again in 2015, with no real competition on the current roster. However, the Packers are in talks to re-sign B.J. Raji as well, and it's also possible they will target another tackle in the draft.

Guion will avoid criminal charges stemming from his Feb. 3 arrest, the Green Bay Press Gazette reports.

Guion's case originally included felony possession of marijuana charges, but these will be dropped following a no contest plea agreement with local authorities. The defensive tackle remains unsigned for 2015, but should still see an opportunity to earn a role with a team, though a potential personal conduct policy suspension may hurt his chances. Signing with the Packers (who he played for in 2014) remains a possibility.

Guion was arrested late Tuesday night on marijuana possession, Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports.

Guion was reportedly in talks for a long-term deal with the Packers before the news, heading into the offseason as an unrestricted free agent after being on a one-year deal in 2014. It's unclear how the charge will effect his availability moving forward, but the CBA change last season could reduce the potential penalty he would face.

Guion (hamstring) is slated to start at nose tackle in place of B.J. Raji (biceps), Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Raji's torn biceps has opened the door for Guion, an offseason addition in free agency, to nab a starting gig. While defensive coordinator Dom Capers said that other players will help cover the void, the uptick in snaps should help Guion produce more than the 24.3 tackles that he averaged in the previous three seasons with the Vikings.

Guion (hamstring) was cleared to begin practicing Monday, ESPN reports.

Guion has missed the entirety of the Packers' preseason preparations thus far due to a pulled hamstring. Upon being signed from the Vikings' this offseason, Guion was expected to compete for the Packers' starting nose tackle position. While his injury certainly saw him lose ground in that race, B.J. Raji (biceps) being ruled out for the season has presented a new opportunity for Guion. As such, the veteran will aim to remain healthy and gear up quickly for Week 1, although Josh Boyd and Mike Pennel remain ahead of Guion on Green Bay's current depth chart.

Guion (hamstring) is likely to begin this season on the Packers' PUP list, ESPN reports.

Guion still hasn't been cleared to practice, as a hamstring injury continues to plague the defensive lineman. After signing from the Vikings this offseason, Guion is likely to miss at least the first six weeks of the regular season. When coupling Guion's sideline spell with B.J. Raji (bicep) being ruled out for the year, Mike Pennel should earn significant playing time at nose tackle.

Guion (hamstring) is close to making his training camp debut with the Packers, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Guion's hamstring injury has sidelined him to this point of training camp, but it appears he should be able to take the field soon. Guion, who started each of the 13 games he played for the Vikings last season, is a good bet for the Packers 53-man roster if he proves he is healthy.
