Kendricks caught four passes (on six targets) for 61 yards in Sunday's win over the Seahawks.

EDGE Analysis

Kendricks' stat-line is slightly misleading, as a majority of his damage came on a 44-yard completion from Case Keenum in the second quarter. His six targets were an encouraging sign, but as long as so many questions remain surrounding the Rams' quarterback situation, Kendricks will be a risky tight end play in standard leagues.

Kendricks caught two passes (on three targets) for 15 yards in Monday night's loss to the 49ers.

EDGE Analysis

Kendricks' yardage total finished ranked third among his Rams teammates Monday, illustrating the clear struggle they had moving the ball. Even though Kendricks doesn't sport very much upside as a fantasy tight end, the offseason departure of Jared Cook figures to help him improve his numbers this term, no matter how hard to believe that may appear following Los Angeles' dismal season-opening outing.

Kendricks caught three passes (on three targets) for a team-high 36 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Broncos.

EDGE Analysis

Kendricks' three catches all came while quarterback Case Keenum was in the game over the first four series of Saturday's contest. The veteran ultimately led Los Angeles in receiving yards, but that evidenced how much the Rams struggled to move the ball. Additionally, with starting running back Todd Gurley rested, Kendricks probably was a bigger figure than he otherwise will be during the regular season, and rookie tight end Tyler Higbee's six targets Saturday suggest he could increasingly cut into Kendricks' usage in the passing game as the year unfolds.

Kendricks has a shot to become the Rams' primary pass-catching tight end, ESPN.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

The Rams signed Kendricks to a four-year, $18.5 million contract in March of 2015, oddly giving borderline starter money to their No. 2 tight end. The franchise presumably viewed Kendricks as the heir apparent to Jared Cook, who was released this past offseason after a disappointing stint in St. Louis. While not in Cook's class as a pure athlete, Kendricks is a superior blocker and quite possibly a more reliable all-around tight end. However, he may have to fend off fourth-round rookie Tyler Higbee (knee/legal), who caught five passes for 49 yards in the Rams' preseason opener. Kendricks is still the favorite to enter Week 1 as the starter, but he'll have a tough time putting up consistent numbers in a run-first St. Louis offense.

With Jared Cook recently released, Kendricks could take on a bigger role in 2016, ESPN.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

Kendricks signed a surprisingly lucrative four-year, $18.5 million contract last offseason, proving that the Rams value his work as a blocker. The team will likely be in search of a pass-catching complement via free agency or the draft, but it is quite possible that Cook's release leads to a significant bump in snaps and targets.

Kendricks set career lows in receiving this season, finishing with 25 catches for 245 yards.

EDGE Analysis

His two touchdowns was also his least since his rookie campaign in 2011. His numbers have certainly taken a hit since Jared Cook has come to town, and the quarterback carousel hasn't helped either. As the second tight end on a terrible offense, Kendricks doesn't hold much value going forward.

Kendricks caught all three of his targets for 27 yards in Thursday's 31-23 win over the Buccaneers.

EDGE Analysis

Kendricks has recorded at least two targets in 11 of his 13 games this season, but with no more than five in any one contest. Even in deep leagues, any scenario involving fantasy relevance would have to include a Jared Cook injury.

Kendricks (concussion) is listed as active Sunday against the Lions, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

With concussion symptoms dissipating in a week's time, Kendricks has sidestepped his second DNP of the season. However, aside from a pair of touchdowns spread across the campaign, he's mustered a dour mark of 6.2 YPT on less than three targets per game.

Kendricks (concussion) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Lions, Nick Wagoner of ESPN reports.

EDGE Analysis

With his concussion symptoms clearing up quickly, Kendricks is expected to avoid any missed time. He owns a 17-181-2 receiving line on 28 targets through 11 games, with improvement unlikely unless Jared Cooks suffers an injury.

Kendricks (concussion) was listed as a full practice participant Thursday, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

EDGE Analysis

The Rams' schedule includes a day off in the second practice of each week, which typically lands on Thursday, but an estimated report is always released. With Kendricks turning in a full practice, in theory, he almost assuredly received clearance from the concussion protocol, but the preceding will be confirmed upon the release of Friday's injury report.
