Edelman (foot) is not listed on the Patriots' Week 14 injury report.

EDGE Analysis

Edelman had been an injury report regular of late, but it appears as though he's moved past the foot issue that landed him on it. Supporting that notion is that the wideout has recorded three straight eight-catch efforts on a combined 40 targets over that span. Edelman thus approaches the last quarter of the Patriots' regular season slate as a high-volume receiving option in the team's Tom Brady-helmed offense.

Edelman (foot) caught eight of 12 targets for 101 yards in Sunday's 26-10 win over the Rams.

EDGE Analysis

Having logged three straight eight-catch efforts, fueled by a combined 40 targets over that span, Edelman heads into the stretch run as a high-volume wideout option in the New England offense. That's not likely to change as long as the wideout avoids any injury setbacks, in particular pertaining to the foot issue that has made Edelman an injury report regular of late.

Edelman (foot) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Rams.

EDGE Analysis

Edelman will continue to remain heavily-targeted in the Patriots offense down the stretch, on the heels of consecutive eight-catch efforts, propelled by a combined 28 targets over his last two outings. Tight end Rob Gronkowski's season-ending back injury shouldn't significantly impact Edelman's already-high target volume, but the development does figure lead to New England employing more three-wideout sets moving forward.

Edelman (foot) has been cleared to play in the Patriots' Week 13 tilt with the Rams, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

EDGE Analysis

Although Edelman was limited in practice throughout the week, that's mostly been the case for the last several games, yet the wideout hasn't been forced to miss any action. Edelman has taken on more volume in the Patriots' attack the past three weeks with 7.7 receptions on 12.3 targets per contest, and both numbers could conceivably tick up in the games to come with star tight end Rob Gronkowski (back) landing on IR.

Edelman (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams after turning in another limited practice Friday.

EDGE Analysis

Edelman has been an injury report regular since Week 5, but there's not much doubt that he'll continue to remain heavily targeted in the Patriots' offense moving forward, following back-to-back eight-catch outputs, generated by a combined 28 targets over his last two games. The extended absence of star TE Rob Gronkowski shouldn't greatly impact Edelman's steady target volume, though it should lead to more three-wideout sets (and added looks for the likes of fellow WRs Malcolm Mitchell and Danny Amendola) down the stretch.

Edelman (foot/personal) returned to practice Thursday, WEEI.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

Look for Edelman to continue to play through his foot issue, as he has been doing, on Sunday against the Rams. He'll continue to remain heavily-targeted in the Patriots' offense moving forward, on the heels of back-to-back eight-catch efforts, fueled by a combined 28 targets over his last two games. News that tight end Rob Gronkowski will miss time shouldn't greatly affect Edelman's target volume (which is already high), though it should lead to more looks for the likes of Malcolm Mitchell and Danny Amendola, as the team figures to deploy more three-wideout sets down the stretch.

Edelman (foot) was absent from Wednesday's practice , the Boston Herald reports.

EDGE Analysis

Edelman, who continues to play through a listed foot injury, has been a limited practice participant since Week 5, so his absence Wednesday is of some note. That said, we wouldn't be surprised if this is more of a maintenance-related issue than an indication of a setback. We'll monitor Edelman's status in advance of Sunday's game against the Rams, nonetheless.

Edelman (foot) caught eight of 11 targets for 83 yards in Sunday's 22-17 win over the Jets.

EDGE Analysis

Edelman led the team in targets, receptions and yards, posting his second-highest outputs of the season in the latter two categories. He has dealt with a foot injury this season that perhaps limited him early on, but he has hit his stride with 23 catches for 259 yards and a touchdown in three games since the bye week. Edelman appears to be back to his best and should see his fair share of targets once again next week against the Rams.

Edelman (foot) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Jets.

EDGE Analysis

Edelman has been an injury-report regular since Week 5, but he has yet to miss any games this season. He's in line to log plenty of snaps, as well as his share of targets in the Patriots' Week 12 offense, entering the contest averaging 5.6 catches and 53.4 receiving yards per game, while having recorded two TDs in 10 games to date.

Edelman (foot) is expected to play Sunday against the Jets, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

EDGE Analysis

Edelman is officially listed as questionable after being limited in practice this week, but he is expected to be joined by Tom Brady (knee), Rob Gronkowski (chest), Martellus Bennett (ankle) and Chris Hogan (ankle) on the field against a Jets defense that has been very up-and-down this season.
