Norwood caught four of six passes for 30 yards in Saturday's preseason loss to the 49ers.

EDGE Analysis

The top of the Broncos' receiver depth chart is fairly set with Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, Cody Latimer and - when healthy - Bennie Fowler. Norwood continues to get looks - tying fellow competitor Jordan Taylor for the team lead with six targets - but he isn't getting the bump in value that he is supposed to as a returner. Denver's coaching staff has, instead, focused on giving younger players opportunities to return kicks this preseason with Norwood having yet to make a return.

Norwood has agreed to a one-year deal with the Broncos, Mike Klis of 9News reports.

EDGE Analysis

Norwood caught 22 balls for 207 yards without a touchdown in 2015 for the Broncos in 11 games, as he was limited by a hamstring injury in October and November. Expect him to occupy a similar role in Denver in 2016, as he won't be challenging Demaryius Thomas nor Emmanuel Sanders for a top role in the Broncos offense.

Norwood (hamstring) is inactive Sunday against the Chiefs.

EDGE Analysis

Norwood hasn't played since Week 6, though after putting in a full practice on Friday, it was looking as if he may have been on track to play. Look for Denver to continue to rotate their backup receivers to pick up the slack in Norwood's absence.

Norwood (hamstring) participated in practice on Wednesday.

EDGE Analysis

Norwood returned to the practice field for the first time since he suffered a hamstring injury in practice on October 30. It is unknown if Norwood will be healthy enough to play in Sunday's game against the Chiefs, but his status should become more clear as the week progresses.

Norwood (hamstring) is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Colts.

EDGE Analysis

Norwood was able to work on the sideline at Friday's practice, which suggests that the wideout has a shot to return to action in Week 10 against the Chiefs.

Norwood (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's game against Green Bay, the Broncos' official website reports.

EDGE Analysis

Andre Caldwell, Cody Latimer and Bennie Fowler are all candidates to take on some extra snaps in Norwood's absence, but the Denver passing game will still be extremely dependent on Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sander. The prolific duo has accounted for 81 percent of the team's wideout targets this season.

Norwood (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Packers.

EDGE Analysis

Norwood suffered a hamstring injury early in Friday's practice, which clouds his Week 8 status, but as long as Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders are able to remain healthy enough to play, Norwood is off the fantasy radar in most formats.

Norwood had two catches on five targets for 25 yards Sunday against the Ravens.

EDGE Analysis

Norwood was surprisingly active Sunday given that he was behind Cody Latimer and Andre Caldwell on the depth chart, but Latimer didn't get a single ball thrown his way and Caldwell caught his only target for one yard. The Broncos throw the ball quite a bit, though Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas get such a dominant share of the targets that it would be tough for Norwood to become a consistent fantasy option.

Norwood will be placed on injured reserve after tearing his ACL at practice Wednesday, the Broncos' official site reports.

Losing Norwood is a hit to the Broncos' wideout depth, as well a special teams hit, given that he was in the the team's punt return mix.

There are fears that the knee injury Norwood suffered at practice Wednesday could be a torn ACL, ESPN.com reports.

While that has yet to be confirmed, if that is the case, it would represent a hit to the Broncos' receiving corps depth, with Norwood making a push to stick with the team as a reserve wideout/punt returner.
