Gresham gathered in 37 of 61 targets for 391 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games during the 2016 season.

EDGE Analysis

Blanked in four separate contests, including the season finale, Gresham nonetheless hearkened back to the first five years of his career with the Bengals. In fact, if one prorates the outings in which he recorded a reception to a 16-game slate, he would have accounted for 49 catches, 521 yards, and 2.7 touchdowns. After a nondescript first season in the desert -- 18/223/1 in 15 games -- he garnered interest from a number of organizations last offseason but returned to the Cardinals on a team-friendly one-year, $3 million contract. The recent production will more than likely drive up his market, and with 19 unrestricted free agents to deal with in the coming months, Gresham may have to settle for different climes if the price isn't right in Arizona.

Gresham tallied two catches (on four targets) for 40 yards during Saturday's win at Seattle.

EDGE Analysis

Gresham has become a safety net for Carson Palmer in the Cardinals' passing attack as the season has progressed, securing multiple receptions and at least 30 yards receiving in eight consecutive contests. Among his two catches in Week 16, his 34-yard grab in the second quarter marked the fourth of 20-plus yards during the aforementioned stretch. Having said that, he may find difficulty extending the streak next Sunday on the road against a Rams defense that has allowed opposing tight end corps to surpass 25 yards in a given game just twice in the past six outings.

Gresham (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Saints, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

EDGE Analysis

Gresham spent some time in the trainer's room for maintenance purposes this week, restricting him to limited practice sessions both Thursday and Friday. No matter, he'll brush off his knee concern versus a New Orleans defense that has surrendered 12.1 YPC and four touchdowns to tight ends this season.

Gresham (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Saints.

EDGE Analysis

Wrapping up Week 15 prep with back-to-back limited practices, Gresham's status unsurprisingly remains in flux. If he's unable to brush off his knee injury and suit up Sunday, he'll look to extend a six-game run in which he's averaged four receptions (on six targets) for 39.2 yards per outing, while reaching the end zone twice.

Gresham (knee) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports.

EDGE Analysis

After a DNP on Wednesday, Gresham has already been tabbed for limited work. A step in the right direction, his listing on Friday's injury report could provide an inkling about his availability for Sunday's game against the Saints.

Gresham (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

EDGE Analysis

When Gresham suffered a knee injury last season, he was inactive in the Cardinals' subsequent outing. Granted, the team had to prepare for Thursday Night Football in Week 14, so his absence wasn't unexpected, but he managed just three catches over the final three games of the regular season. Every injury is accompanied by its own rehab, though, meaning his practice participation, or lack thereof, will be of interest as this week proceeds.

Gresham notched five receptions (on six targets) for 52 yards during Sunday's 31-23 victory against the Redskins.

EDGE Analysis

Gresham turned in the most snaps of any skill-position player not named Carson Palmer -- 72 of 76 on offense -- racking up a season high in receiving yards and matching his top mark in terms of catches. With at least 30 yards in five consecutive contests, he's reeled in at least 50 percent of Carson Palmer's offerings in each one, which has equated to a catch rate of 65.5 percent (19 grabs on 29 targets). At best, though, Gresham is third in the pecking order in Arizona's passing attack behind Larry Fitzgerald and David Johnson, while Michael Floyd is always a threat to make an impact as well. In any case, Gresham has at least become a consideration in deeper formats.

Gresham (illness) was a full practice participant Thursday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

EDGE Analysis

Gresham is already past the illness that forced a DNP on Wednesday. With touchdowns in back-to-back games, he'll try to make it three Sunday against a Redskins defense that has conceded three TDs to tight ends over the last four outings.

Gresham was unable to practice Wednesday due to an illness, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

EDGE Analysis

Gresham has emerged as a consistent threat in the Cardinals' passing attack over the last four contests, notching at least 30 yards in four straight and scoring touchdowns in back-to-back games. Although he's come down with an illness, he has plenty of time to recover in time for Sunday's outing against the Redskins.

Gresham gathered in five of 10 passes for 35 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's loss in Atlanta.

EDGE Analysis

Gresham has wrested control of tight end in Arizona, earning 62 of 66 offensive snaps Sunday. Meanwhile, the only other healthy bodies at the position (Darren Fells and Hakeem Valles) combined for eight. The breakdown hasn't been so stark since Gresham took on the majority of work in Week 5, but he's now reached 30 yards receiving in four straight games and hit pay dirt in back-to-back contests. With sustained production comes relevance, and Gresham may be conjuring some of it from his days as the Bengals' top TE.
