Cumberland finished 2014 with 23 catches for 247 yards. He was targeted 47 times.

Two of Cumberland's touchdowns came long after he was a fantasy write-off: Week 16 and 17. He's yet to top 400 yards in any of his five seasons, and now Jace Amaro is around to complicate things.

Cumberland had three catches on five targets for 43 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's loss to the Patriots.

Cumberland's score was the Jets' only touchdown of the day, as quarterback Geno Smith continues to struggle. It was Cumberland's second touchdown this season, with both coincidentally coming against the Patriots. Up next is a Week 17 matchup against the Dolphins, who are allowing the third-fewest passing yards per game this season.

Cumberland was targeted twice, both incompletions, in Sunday's loss at Kansas City.

The Jets didn't get their tight ends going in this game - Jace Amaro didn't even draw a target. Meanwhile, the team's two primary wide receivers, Percy Harvin and Eric Decker, combined for 20 catches. Cumberland and Amaro are impossible to trust entering Week 10's game against Pittsburgh.

Cumberland caught 3-of-4 targets for 50 yards and a touchdown in Thursdya's 27-25 loss to the Patriots.

Cumberland turned in his finest statistical performance of the season, and it may stand as such at the end of the year. He'll likely keep starting over Jace Amaro for at least a couple more weeks, but it won't be all that surprising if the rookie eventually takes over. For now, both tight ends will be involved in the offense, with Amaro largely focused on receiving while Cumberland does a bit more work as an in-line blocker.

Cumberland (illness) is active for Sunday's game against the Broncos.

Cumberland has only ten catches and has yet to score a touchdown on the season, but he is available if you were planning to use him for some reason.

Cumberland caught two passes for 12 yards in Sunday's loss to San Diego.

Not much to show for six targets, though at least he was looked at - Cumberland didn't have a target in Week 4.

Cumberland was not targeted in Sunday's loss to Detroit.

If you want to have a Jets tight end in your fantasy life, we suggest Jace Amaro.

Cumberland had three catches for 18 yards on six targets in Monday's 27-19 loss to the Bears.

Meanwhile, rookie TE Jace Amaro caught 3-of-4 targets for 54 yards, albeit with an ugly third-down drop mixed in. Cumberland figures to hold on to the starting job, but both players should have roles in the offense, with neither a strong option outside of very deep leagues.

Cumberland finished with one catch for 14 yards in Sunday's loss at Green Bay. He was targeted twice.

Cumberland is getting more work than Jace Amaro these days, not that you want either tight end on a standard roster. Chicago is the Week 3 matchup.
