Gaither's $4.5 million 2013 salary is guaranteed, however, so he'll be back in a Bolts uniform next season. They can only hope he works harder this offseason. We wouldn't hold our breath.

Per beat writer Michael Gehlken, Gaither wound up earning $2.25 million for every game played in 2012.

Although Baltimore ranks in the bottom half of the league in sacks, a San Diego squad without their top tackle would be welcome news. UDFA Mike Harris has started in place of Gaither six times this season and has been destroyed in pass protection. The Chargers are already going to be without LG Tyronne Green (hamstring).
