Harrison agreed Thursday to meet with NFL investigators upon the league's request following steroid allegations, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports.

EDGE Analysis

Harrison was subject to an Al-Jazeera report back in January linking him to performance-enhancing durgs, and the league threatened to suspend the linebacker if he chose not to meet with investigators. At this point he'll need a successful interview in order to avoid being suspended for regular season contests. He's not projected to be a starter with Jarvis Jones getting the nod at right outside linebacker, but the veteran figures to play an important depth role.

Harrison, Clay Matthews, Julius Peppers and free-agent Mike Neal will be suspended beginning Aug. 26 if they don't agree to be interviewed by the league about allegations linking the players to performance-enhancing drugs in the Al Jazeera America documentary The Dark Side, USA Today reports.

EDGE Analysis

The NFL Players Association has said the players submitted affidavits to the league about the allegations, but the league wants to interview the players in person. The edict from the league sets up a showdown which raises the possibility that Matthews could be suspended for regular season games. Harrison was bothered by a sprained ankle early in training camp, but was able to play in Pittsburgh's first preseason game and should be fine for the regular season if he avoids a suspension.

Harrison suffered an ankle sprain during Monday's training camp session, USA TODAY Sports reports.

EDGE Analysis

The injury is not believed to be serious, however, as head coach Mike Tomlin deemed the sprain as "minor". The Steelers took the day off on Tuesday, so Harrison's status likely won't be updated until Wednesday, at the latest.

Harrison will return to the Steelers for the 2016 season.

EDGE Analysis

Harrison recently completed a six-week training period that helped him determine that he'll indeed return for a 14th NFL season. All but one of those have come with the Steelers, for whom he posted 40 tackles and five sacks as a 37-year-old last season. Clearly still capable of making an impact, Harrison will once again provide valuable depth and experience to the Steelers' defense this time around.

Harrison has scheduled a six-week training period this offseason, after which he'll determine whether to play in 2016, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports. "I'm going to start the process of making sure that I can get back to where I need to be so I'm able to give 100 percent," he said. "If I'm not able to get back to that point, I'll do what's necessary to be fair to my team and myself."

EDGE Analysis

Harrison remained a pass-rushing menace in his age-37 season, racking up at least 5.0 sacks for the eighth time in 12 campaigns. He further recorded a sack in both of the Steelers' playoff matchups among 11 total tackles, but his NFL future is again weighing on his mind. In order to determine the next course of action, he'll start a training regimen at Performance Enhancement Professionals in North Scottsdale, Az., in the second week of March. The six-week plan will flow seamlessly into the Steelers' offseason program, meaning he'll know one way or another whether his body will be up to the task in the fall.

Harrison totaled seven tackles (six solo), including a sack in the Steelers' loss to the Broncos on Sunday. He finished the post season with 11 tackles, including two sacks.

EDGE Analysis

Harrison continued where he left off from the regular season, in which he totaled 40 tackles (27 solo), including five sacks in 2015. He also had an interception and two forced fumbles. Since coming out of retirement in 2014, Harrison has recorded 10.5 sacks in 26 regular season games, second only to Cameron Heyward (12) over that span for Pittsburgh. With one year remaining on his contract, Harrison, who turns 38 before next season, will have to decide whether or not he will retire for a second time. However, he is worthy of fantasy consideration in IDP leagues for the 2016 season.

Harrison (not injury related) is active for Sunday's game at Baltimore.

EDGE Analysis

Harrison's five sacks show that the old man can still get after the quarterback effectively, and he will look to keep it going this week at Baltimore.

Harrison totaled seven tackles (six solo) including three sacks in the Steelers' win over the Colts on Sunday.

EDGE Analysis

This was a monster game for Harrison, who also forced a fumble. With three sacks, Harrison is now tied with Cameron Heyward for the team lead with fve this season, and now holds the Steelers' record with 18 multi-sack games since sacks became an official statistic in 1982.

Harrison (knee) is active Sunday against the Seahawks.

EDGE Analysis

After putting in three full practices this week, Harrison will share snaps at right outside linebacker with Jarvis Jones. His presence will help as the Steelers look to slow down Thomas Rawls and the Seahawks rushing attack.
