If you’ve been reading my articles this preseason, you know I am a big fan of waiting on wide receiver this year. There are just so many good values at the position throughout the draft. Early this preseason I wrote an article on the zero WR strategy which is a good overview explaining my love for the late round receiver. In this piece I’ll look at some good valued receivers throughout the draft, not just at the very end. 2015 NFL Mock Draft 2.0 fantasysharks.com Mon 3/23/15 7:30 AM

1) Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jameis Winston (QB) Florida St. Important Free Agency Moves: Signed: - Bruce Carter (LB) - Major Wright (SS) - Henry Melton (DL) - Chris Conte (FS) Departures: - Michael Johnson (DE) - Anthony Collins (OL) - Mason Foster (LB) The Buccaneers were quiet on Day 1 of free agency, unlike 2014, and methodically went after people that fit their defensive scheme. They have the pieces on offense with Mike Evans, Vincent Jackson, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, and a young running back corps. They desperately need to fix the offensive line, which will be a priority as free agency continues and in the early rounds of the draft. The Buccaneers need a “Face of the Franchise” and find it with their No. 1 overall pick. We all know that his off-the-field issues could make it tough for him make it in the NFL. On the field, he is the best prospect at QB for the 2015 draft. He has the strength, accuracy, and confidence in his throwing to be a solid pocket passer at the next level. He has the ability to “lead his receivers open” and create an easier catch situation for his target. On tape and the combine, he looked great. He has the physical attributes of a franchise-type quarterback. Rumor has it that he nailed the combine interviews and has a high football IQ. Lovie Smith has been to a Super Bowl with Rex Grossman, who is an average quarterback at best. Lovie makes this pick, lets Koetter (who coached Matt Ryan) mold him into a capable starter, and works...

Rookie Review - Week 8 fantasysharks.com Wed 10/22/14 9:06 AM

Ifyou read my article weekly, you will recall that I predicted last week thatSammy Watkins would have a big week, and boy did he! Let's see how the others fared. Quarterbacks DerekCarr - Oakland Raiders Playing against a very hungry team thatis in the lead in the NFC, Carr had a tough task. Derek performed OK while putting up 16-28-173with 1 sack and 1 interception. He playedbetter than the numbers suggest and provides a hope for the future. Carr is the first rookie quarterback in over40 years to start and lose his first 6 games. Blake Bortles -- Jacksonville Jaguars Congratulations on your first winBlake, let this be the first of many. Tobe honest, this was not his best performance of the season while going17-31-159 with 1 touchdown, 3 interceptions, & 2 sacks. Blake needs to find ways to keep from turningthe ball over so often. Bortles shoulduse his legs more and scramble for yardage, like the 37 yards he had onSunday. I know his receivers are alsoyoung, but they need to work together and figure things out to not have so manyturnovers. Teddy Bridgewater -- Minnesota Vikings It has been a tough two weeks for Teddygoing up against arguably the top two defensive fronts in football. Just like last week, this week was notpretty. Bridgewater went 15-26-157 with 1 touchdown,2 interceptions & 5 sacks. I cantell you that the offensive line has stunk during the past two weeks, but Teddyneeds to know his surroundings better and get rid of the ball instead of takingall these sacks. When I mean get rid ofit, I mean throw it out of bounds, not to the defense. RunningBacks BishopSankey -- Tennessee Titans Things have not gone well for theTitans since Jake Locker got injured, and the whole offense has suffered. That includes Sankey, who has also started inthose games. Bishop had 16 rushes for 56yards on the day. Hopefully the returnof Locker will also help open up the running game for Sankey and theTitans. DevontaFreeman -- AtlantaFalcons The injuries continue to mount for theoffensive line in Atlantaand it brings everybody down. Matt Ryanhad no time to throw, and there were no running lanes available for any of therunning backs. Devonta only had 2 rushesfor 20 yards, but he also caught all 5 balls thrown to him for 17 yards. Steven Jackson isn't doing much as thestarter, maybe they should let Freeman start once to see if he can open it up alittle for the Falcons. TerranceWest -- ClevelandBrowns West seems to have fallen to 3rdon the ...
